Hamonic- 1 goal, +2, no mistakes on defense always makes the right decisions.

I went with Bails, KO and Nabby. Great work by that line tonight and Nabby pitching a very solid effort yet again.

Went with Bailey and Nabby

Was going to go with Hamonic for getting a shot on net but I didn't.

I voted for Bailey. The quick goal set the game and I loved his forechecking.

Honorable mention to Hickey, kid played well. When are we going to resign him!

Bailey, Martin, Cizikas, and Nabby, though I debated Nabby getting in there.

Martin with the KO today.

Hamonic is so underrated on here it's absurd.

Please explain this one to me, how can Cizikas and Martin constantly be player of the game when they play less than 12 minutes??????

I love Cizikas and Martin, but they were definitely not player of the game, thats just ridiculous.

Hamonic is marginal. I'm saying he's bad but he had a very good game today. I think he was better last year. But, he's starting to show his form from a year ago. During the offseason he has to work on getting his shot on net. He had a nice lazy wristshot that beat Marty, see what getting shots on net does....

Lets go Islanders!

Your saying he's bad???? You do realize he had a concussion in bridgeport and played with a sprained ankle and didn't miss a game. Most of his shots he's looking for deflections, I don't know what you people don't get about that. He's by far the best defenseman in his own zone and going up against the other teams top lines. People praise Hickey which is mind-boggling, he's mediocre at best.

It's all good, btw I would have voted for Hamonic even if he didn't score, his job is to play defense and shut down the other teams top line. I'm sure most of you look at his -10 and thats the reason you think he's doing bad. He prob had 4-5 deflections off him into the goal, Amac had a couple and both of these guys are out with the Tavares' line and that doesn't help. He was also out for a couple of empty net goals. +/- are misleading.

Hamonic and Visnovsky were the best Islanders today. Hickey, Nabokov, Okposo, Bailey and Nielsen had good games. MacDonald was awful. Boyes was putrid. Moulson and Tavares tried (and tired). But without Hamonic and Visnovsky, we lose big time.

Okposo had a real good game imo. Fierce on the forecheck for the past dozen games or so. Overstayed his shift half a dozen times though.

Under-rated? Are you high? Hamonic is the future on the blueline until one of the poliwogs at the Bridge morph into actual NHL players better than him, and I am not seeing it yet.

Travis is currently burnt, been playing hurt much of the season, and is shackled to an entirely inadequate partner. It is unfair, but his play has suffered from it this season. I have been very impressed by his lack of penalties. That was the only real developmental smudge I saw last year and it is obvious he has licked it.

Martin... heh, he is one of perhaps 3 guys who play like they own a pair. I could give him a blue ribbon most games based on that alone. Who else is going to stand up for their team mates? Kyle? Bailey? Moulson, Grabner, Amac, Streit, Hickey....

It is a team of girl scouts. They should be paying Martin protection money.

Are you high? He's one of the most important players on the team and you listed Martin and Cizikas player of the game? Yea, I'm pretty sure he's underrated.

Played the most minutes tonight, 4 blocked shots, +2, a goal, and you say Martin and Cizikas had a better game playing only 12 minutes? What game are you watching?

I love Cizikas, but he was nowhere near player of the game today.
