OT- Do you do this deal......need HELP!!

I posted this in the fantasy section but I would to the opinion form some you here on the habs board.

I'm the GM of Anaheim (Montreal was already taken ) for a fantasy league. I made a mistake in trading Perry (didn't like him though) for Staios and a 2 round pick)

Would you mkae this deal.

To Anaheim:

Alex Perezoghin
1st Round pick

To Montreal:

Ryan Getzlaf

To me it seems like I win the deal in long run if I draft well. What do you think.

Thanks,

I wouldn't give the 1st round pick... , and I don't see how Getzlaf is an improvement on Perez.

Edit: I just realised you were the GM of Anaheim, do that deal!!!

You're a Habs fan, take your guy in Perez and draft another Hab next year with the 1st pick. That's your way of getting revenge on the guy who has the Montreal team name.

Getzlaf is Ranked at 75 and Perez at 71.

Do you think Perez will catch up in terms or development?

Is it for a EHM online league?

Every guy in EHM has a ceiling, depending on their perceived potential.

I would keep Getzlaf

The guy will get more ice time and will produce.

Perezhogin I love the guy but where will he play?Line 3 or 4.

If you can get Higgins or Plekanec then yes

It's in the SSHL

Sharp Shooter Hockey League, where you chose one of the 30 teams and you use one of the current rosters and try to build a dynasty.

Edit: Wrong league name, i have fixed it.

You have to specify these things. I do not know SSHL so I can't give you advice but there are people here who knows this.

The system you use will change opinions in a radical fashion. If the ceiling are weighted or established by someone who doesn't follow the habs, Perezhogin might turn out to be a scrub... you never know.

If the ratings follow actual player production... then its a different thing ...

OMG, FHL league, old memories coming back

Keep Ryan Getzlaf

Getzlaf is better, younger and since the season isn't started you don't know if your going to get a top pick

I was tinking that Perez would end up at about 78 or so and Getzlaf about 81,

Then I could 2 1st picks and 2 second picks, (Previous trade)

Now I'm really not sure... Can you give an explanation why not to?

Getzlaf's the better player, but the first-rounder would make up the value.
