- Ryane Clowe
- Clarke Macarthur

I really like Clowe, see him as a very good bottom 6 player who has great playoff experience that could help this young team. Fits Carlyles style of play perfectly.

Macarthur has been alright this year, but I don't see him resigning come the offseason.

One pending UFA for another?

apparently Clowe wants way too much money so I don't see us resigning him either...

based on this year I would rather have Mac for the playoffs.

Clowe's 0 goals aren't much of a selling point for some added depth up front.

I don't see why the Sharks do a deal like this?

Wouldn't San Jose want an actual asset back for Clowe?

Seeing as we were offered Nicklas Jensen, a first, and a second, no.

We were? Why aren't we doing this right now?

I think neither side does this.

I have posted this exact offer twice myself, and this is probably the 2nd to 3rd time I've seen someone else post it.

It made a lot of sense early in the year, and last year, but right now the fit might not be there. C Mac has played well for Toronto and Clowe is struggling. I wouldn't hate the move, but not as eager to see a swap between them anymore.

This has been proposed and discussed before a million times. The answer from the Sharks is a big hell no.

A big hell no?

No need to over exadurate.

0 goals is not something everyone is lining up for.

I really don't see what seperate a Clowe from someone like Prust or Tootoo at this point.

Obviously, the GM's know something that you don't. They probably watched him play.

Maybe you watch other hockey games but it's apparent you don't watch Sharks games if you really don't see what separates Clowe from Prust and Tootoo. Anybody with just one eye watching a Sharks game and seeing those two would see the difference.

How much do you think he'll get? Sharks should have the leverage to give him less than he's getting now due to this season.

This season? I'd take Prust over him.

I really liked Clowe in the past, but he didn't look good at all when I watched play earlier in the year. Unless he's turned it around lately?

Even at Clowe's worst, he's better at generating offense and maintaining possession than Prust at his best. It's really that simple. You can take Prust over him all you want but that is by and large more important towards winning hockey. And if you have to ask if he's turned it around lately then you're only proving my point that you're not watching it and certainly not with a whole lot of attention.

Because he tried to tan in our GM's private booth. You never try to tan in Wilson's booth or you're either dead, traded or both.

1. LOL. No you wouldn't.

2. Yes. He has indeed turned it around. You just aren't watching the games.

0 goals. So what, he's generating offense and is incredibly snake bitten.
