They sorta screwed up his goal total for last year since he had 7 goals and not 3 but good article otherwise.

What I don't understand is how subban isn't the top contender for the Norris because he really should be and he's not getting the respect he deserves around the league if he continues like this he should win the Norris without a question but sadly I think he won't and will get robbed what should be rightfully his.

He wasn't on anybody's list of Norris Trophy favorites at the start of the season or even when he came back, but people are coming around. Just in the last week on Team 690 both Dreger and Mckenzie have put him on the short list of 2-3 people favorites to win the trophy and the conversation is spreading.

He is now tied for the NHL scoring lead for D I believe and is playing 27-30 mins a night. Don't worry, if he continues to do what he is doing, he will win the the Norris.

The things he does on the ice look normal and safe when he does them but they are ridiculous, nobody NHL in the league can do some of the things he does, noone.

He's too hated and disrespected to win it, IMHO. Whether deserving or not, I think you can shave 20-40% off his vote totals just due to that factor, which would probably keep it out of his reach. It'll take longer than this short season to chip away at all that, alas.

I would feel better for PK if we heard this opinion from someone who actually votes on this award.

Sadly PK needs to get votes from people who are not the most enlightened. The Don Cherry cloud and racism will follow him, but overcoming this is also what has made him so great.

It's sad that people disrespect him due, in part, to his skin color.

If this was an 82 game season he would have more time to sway the voters. As of right now, I think Suter and Letang are the front runners but Letang's injury might knock him out of the race.

My money is on Suter winning the Norris but P.K. will have a shot next season if he can hang with Karlsson.

$60M/8yrs. $7.5M cap hit. But that's fine. We got him cheap for next season when the cap comes down, his perennial Norris years at $7.5M will seem like bargains towards the end of that deal.

Always noticed this about him from his first year, he's very strong, determined and competitive in the corners and along the boards. Probably his most reliable defensive ability and a key reason why his plus/minus has always been good.

Still cant believe we got this guy in the 2nd round. Damn he improved so much since then. He's becoming a leader of this team, veterans respect him now and young players look up to him. Was watching a Beaulieu interview after the first game and he said he was thrilled when he was on the PP with SUbban and PK kept talking to him and it helped him with the stress and all.

Ppl say they want Gorges as next captain but honestly I would put Plekanec and then PK in a couple of years.

Plekanec can keep it warm for Galchenyuk. Subban with an A would be nice.

I don't think bergevin screwed up I'm a firm believer in earning your money even if it costs 2 extra million dollars for a player who is worth every penny. Better than him playing at a reduced salary knowing full well he is worth more than that.

Maybe One of the worst things that's happened in pro sports .... the disclosure of a player's salary.
