Derek Morris Generating Interest

per Pierre LeBrun's twitter
Quote:
Derek Morris generating interest from other teams. Has a limited NTC in which he submitted list of 8 teams before season he would go to

Not surprising considering all the interest for Regehr. Hopefully the Habs are interested. He'd fit perfectly as our 6th d-man.

NHL Player Derek Morris on the move again? Leafs probably in on this. And yeah NHL Player Derek Morris would definitely not be Montreal's 6th defenseman, give your head a shake.

I'm not surprised.

Phoenix could get something decent for him, especially considering he's signed at a respectable cap hit for next year.

Good veteran to have.

he would not be top 4. So 5 or 6 is where he would be, Depth for a playoff run

When we look back at this trade deadline, I'll go out on a limb and say whoever gets Morris, is going to come out like a winner.

Just solid.

He is a better NHL Player than Emelin. I know i know, before you post in a rage about how great Emelin is maybe take some time to research NHL Player Derek Morris. Emelin hits better than him, but NHL Player Derek Morris does quite literally almost everything else better. He could easily supplant Emelin.

Yes but Morris wouldn't be paired with Markov because of the chemistry he has with Emelin. Bouillon and Morris would be paired together on the 3rd pairing. I totally agree that Morris is better though. No doubt about that.

Leafs should look into NHL player Derek Morris. He might be the perfect fit to pair with Gardiner for the near future in order to give him some confidence when rushing the zone

I seem to recall where the NHL player Derek Morris arose from but I'm not 100%.
