Just because he was better in a couple of games than Brian Lee doesn't mean he's not bad.

Not to mention that he's taken to missing the net by about 10 feet with every shot.

*Just kidding any lurking NHL GM's! He's a gem, you want him!

Not a very good 'defense'man, but he could certainly help as a 6th D and PP specialist somewhere.

My first thought was "Why?", my second thought was "Is Jay Feaster looking for a PPQB?"

If it's to Montreal, I hope it's for Weber...don't want to pay too much for Bergeron.

I'd love to see him in Detroit.

He's one of the worst defensive players I've ever seen. He singlehandedly allowed the Islanders to give up 9 shorthanded goals one season.

This is an insult to all the 6th Ds out there. MAB would be great to have if you could sit him baseball style as an extra, sort of 20+1 configuration, and put him on the ice just for the PP.

He's a very unique, very special tool that brings little to the table aside from his innate skill. He'd be money on any team in the league if they had the depth to roll 7-dmen. Instantly makes the PP-lines that much more dangerous.

I don't want him on Montreal because our 4th line is doing very well but he'd be good for any team.

If he was a righty shot he'd probably be a lock for top unit PP time, shame he's not.

Decent offensive guy, bomb of a shot, okay defensively. Hidden on the bottom pairing and as a PP guy he is a great choice.

Hoping for a 2nd, but given he hasn't played much I think that could be too hopeful.

I could see Boston picking him up to play as a forward in place of Pandolfo, but I think that is why they claimed Daugavins.

One of those trades apparently where people are saying "please not on my team!" Kind of hockey version of the short story "The Lottery"

Bergeron does not run a PP - he shoots. That's it. Asking him to do anything else (pass, skate with the puck, draw defenders, move it down low, etc) is asking for disaster.

This guy sucks, I don't even think he is good enough for the AHL, but he has 1 thing has made him millions of dollars and an NHL, his shot. Its simply wow, on the pp just set him up for a one timer and its a goal. I don't get it though, he is so small, yet such a heavy shot. Worst part is that he isn't really an offensive puck mover d-men, the guy has a bad outlet pass, and makes bad choices, simply just bad all around expect that BOMB of a shot. I think he also killed Tucro with his shot once.

If a team actually wanted to trade for him...why not just go sign Chris Campoli for the rest of the year instead..
