Jagr in mtl

On TVA sport they said that the agent of jagr have cald MB to know if they would be interested in is client ! And jagr have ask JN as well to check with mtl if a deal could get done for him to join is best buddy pleky !

Since when agent call other team to do trade ??

I know MB didn't want to sign jagr this summer but maybe thing chance since his team is competing for the cup !!

I don't see it unless we send a roster player to Dallas , cause now that bourque might be back in the next 1 or 2 week where will we put jagr ??

Pacio-desharnais-Galagher
Jagr-pleky-Ryder
Prust-eller-galchenyuk (bourque / gionta )
Moen-halpern-white or Armstrong

So where do we put bourque and gionta ?? Probably gionta could go on the third with Eller and gally and we push back prust on the fourth but still what do we do with bourque ?? Maybe something involving bourque or my wish would be to send gionta for jagr ??

There is no room for Jagr. And I wouldn't trade anyone for him either aside from Gionta who's been better recently and still our captain. Also, Prust won't play on the 4th line with what he brings to the team (I know you think so as well by looking at your lineup, just saying we can't demote him). Just a bad fit right now.

I think we're even going to have trouble finding a spot for Bourque who was one of our best forwards before getting concussed.

Leblanc + 2nd for Jagr is my starting offer. He'd be money here and he'd demote Gionta to the 3rd line where he belongs.

I'd even make it a conditional first if he resigns.

I don't think it would cost that much, his offer was a great deal for Jagr.

Jagr would be nice but I'd rather a Dman. I don't think MB does both.

If Bourque doesn't come back, I'd pull the trigger (if it's for cheap). Also it wouldn't hurt the chemistry of the team (knows Plek and Ryder)
It would just bump Gionta with Chucky and Eller and bump Prust on the 4th and probably would scratch Armstrong or Moen.

Makes perfect sense. Jagr on a rebuilding Western Conference team never seemed like a good fit to me.

Jagr has been great, amazing guy in the room, but it is pointless holding on to him when we can get good prospects/picks now.

Boston would be a great fit.

I hope the Leafs sign him in the offseason so we can peddle him for futures at the trade deadline 2014.

The real question is why not the Penguins. They want to make a move for the cup before the salary cap lowering, here is the chance. They should have the cap space with Crosby on the IR

I would love to see him in Boston. He could have a better effect on the ice than Recchi.
