He wants to re-sign with us so yes. Seems like there is a deal in place to re-sign him but the Stars front office was divided on it and the faction that wants to trade him won out.

Ya it would suck to get a guy that is a notorious PP specialist, Bostons is run so well right now they dont need that. A guy who is 6'3 240 or something and amazing along the boards, a guy with tons of experience and has won a cup, those guys are never the answer.

Spooner and Subban untouchables per Chia. Have to imagine Khoklachev is a piece of the puzzle.

There is a 345% chance that the Penguins will face the team he ends up with at some point in the playoffs. Maybe higher.

With his age and the fact he actually could bring some assets, I think they've made the right decision. He just amazes me how he continues to produce.

Maybe a conditional first? If Boston makes the stanley cup final or resigns him? Otherwise a second. I could see something like that happening. Dallas is weak at LW and C prospect wise.

Khoklhachev & Bartkowski & 2nd for Jagr? Gotta imagine Khok would be the centerpiece considering he was rumored to be in a deal for Morrow and then obviously Iginla.

I was under the impression that it was common knowledge the Star-Jagr hookup was all about deadline trade bait, right from the beginning. Jagr gets a place where he can go on cruise control for a big chunk of the season for nice pay, Dallas gets an asset back at the deadline, Jagr gets to go to a contender for the stretch run and playoffs.

Rumor is Dallas didn't want Khoklhachev which is why Morrow was never asked to waive for them. IF that's true then the price has to be something else from Boston.
