If it's anything like the Iginla deal, they still can!

Good job by boston, tossing hay makers with pittsburgh now
It's going to be an epic joke.

All they will do is analyze these trades to death. Jagr vs Iginla will definitely be a hot topic tomorrow.

Focus on what the Canadian teams need to do to get into the playoffs...get those stupid reporters in and have them talk a bunch of crap (I hate Steve Simmons and that entire old group).

Smart move by Boston. No reason to hesitate once Jags was made available.

Can't wait for the playoffs to start.

Jesus, does anyone even remember there was a lockout?

I've got a bad feeling that the return is Khokhlachev, Bartkowski, and a 1st rounder

Welcome to Boston Jagr, you are going to look good playing along with your countryman, Krejci, maybe this will wake Horton/Lucic up when one of them is bumped to the 3rd line.

Both are rentals. Jagr is having a better year than Iggy. This will put the Iggy move into perspective.

Far better? No. Better? Debatable. Equal? Possibly. Not as good as? Could be this year.

I would love a bet thread IF Jagr goes to Boston: Who finishes the season with more points, Jagr in Boston or Iginla in Pittsburgh. (Would have been a pretty easy win for Iginla before the Crosby injury I'd think.)

****!

Awesome, though, glad he went out east and glad they got something good after the Iggy situation.

Best part for Boston: Jagr is a Penguin killer.

Iginla was initially reported to be traded to the Bruins, but ended up being dealt to the Penguins.

Stats this season do not tell anything. Calgary has been horrid while Dallas has been mediocre.

Mediocre>>horrid
