It was released to a couple of hundred media outlets late this afternoon.

40 games if i can count?

i noticed there are no flames @ vancouver games. Similarily no flames @ oilers games listed.

Is this just games that will be broadcast as flames hockey broadcasts so we also might pick up a few games which are oiler or canucks broadcasts?

Someone posted a schedule on the Oilers board today that was from last year. The schedules Rogers has for download are definitely from a year ago. But with the Flames schedule out, the Oilers can't be far behind. The biggest problem is finding nights when they aren't playing at the same time.

If you notice some odd times for FLames home games above, IE 7:30, etc. Edmonton is playing an early game on some of those nights.

The schedule seems light on divisional rivals. It looks as if there are only half a dozen divisional games there.

Of course, I love watching teams from the East and Central/Pacific play but the most exciting games Calgary plays are against Vancouver, Edmonton and Colorado.

Edit

More like 9, but only one against Edmonton by the looks.

One more vs Oilers will be SNET West Oilers production and 6 on CBC vs Oilers.

as alluded to above, Flames at Oilers Nov. 21st will also be on the tube. Essentially, 41 games on RSN West
