“@TSNBobMcKenzie: Anything is still possible on SJ's Ryane Clowe but it sure sounds like NYR, VAN and PHI are most likely landing spots, assuming he's traded.”

Clowe is a dud. Another washed up forward. Do not want.

I'm into Clowe after seeing the prices everyone else in getting... No extension though.

Why are we watching teams get better. I would've loved Roy for the 2c. Stepan and Roy would be a great for our center depth.

I disagree. I want him on the team but with 2-3 other teams in the running his price will be higher than I would like to pay. Hes worth a mid level prospect and a 2nd-3rd.

For the right price, heck yes.

Nothing higher than a 3rd. Mediocre prospect.

Philly and NY are leading candidates “@SafarFarhad: @KKurzCSN Where Ryane Clowe will be traded as per you ?”
Sorry if this has been posted. Kevin Kurz is San Jose Sharks Insider for Comcast SportsNet Bay Area/California.

I have rarely seen the Sharks this year, but how the hell does he have no goals? He's a pretty consistent scorer...or was.

I'm guessing if Clowe comes, Boyle goes to San Jose

Wasn't one of the conditions of waiving his NTC that there be an extension in place, or at least on the table?

#NYR Rangers remain keenly interested in Ryane Clowe. Believed to be among the front-runners of teams interested.

Yeah, that was a rumor. With the Rangers, Canucks, and Flyers as the teams interested, I'm not sure that's realistic.

I like the idea of Clowe. I'm just skeptical on this extension he'll get. s

0 goals gets thrown around alot (rightfully so).

But to counter - 3rd on team in assists. 5th in shots...for all you advanced stats guys out there isn't that an "unsustainably low shooting %". For whatever that's worth.

I've not seen that much of him to be honest, but he is somewhat of a Wolski that can fight. Ie he is not a very good hockey player. He isn't pushed around by NHL Ds and he isn't a stiff, so like Wolski, he can put up pts if he gets alot of ice time. But he won't lift a team.

What worries me is his cap hit. I like is toughness.

Im hesitant on any trading of Boyle, but Pyatt needs to be unloaded.

Get what you can for em and get Asham back in the lineup

So is Clowe still available?

I want nothing to do with him. He is the last thing this team needs.

It sure makes for a fun talking point. How fair that is, I'll contest.

IDK why the Flyers are buying, but whatever.

I feel like Torts would have a love affair with Clowe if he came here. I'm talking like 20 mins of TOI.

Clowe brings more than that - he is more of a playmaker, anyway. He's tough, big, and a pest. He plays LW. Put him on a 3rd line with Hagelin, and that equals DEPTH.
