Euh wait. Are we really planning on having Drewskie on the 1st team? I thought he was acquired to play in the AHL.

Prefer the pick. Last 4 5th rounders: Charles Hudon, Darren Dietz, Brendan Gallagher, Gabriel Dumont.

Mean? Really?

13 hits in 20 games isn't exactly what I'd call mean.

If we're giving up a 5th, why not give up a 3rd or a 2nd instead for a better player?

He's played 20 games for LA this year. He's good enough to be our 7th D.

See ya, weber.

You guys are going to like Drewiske.

--great teammate, very well liked, never griped about not getting playing time
--good shutdown guy
--underrated when it comes to his offensive awareness... not afraid to pinch, and is actually pretty savvy offensively.
--only weakness is that he's a tiny bit below average with speed.
--other than that, the guy is solid between the ears and solid on the ice... Always wondered why he didn't get more games when mitchell and greene went down
--I think you guys are going to like him.
--sorry i'm writing this email with bullet points, i have no idea why i'm doing it
--Best of luck to one of my most favorited underrated under-appreciated kings.

LA fans are praising him and saying he's real solid and doesn't make mistakes. Looking forward to seeing him on the ice here.

Why do people think Kaberle is going to go in a trade? Wouldn't a team who wanted him have picked him up when he was on waivers for nothing? Is there something I'm missing?

Mean doesn't always mean hits. Clearing out the net, aggressive in corners. A solid bottom-pairing D/7th.

I'd rather have the pick to be honest. I thought there was room to grow, but the guy is already 28! averaging 14 minutes on LA this season... I dunno.

Depth is important though, but I would have thought he'd acquire depth that can outplay our rookies! I really don't see Drewiske being able to out perform the Hamilton D by that much...

14 PIMS does not exactly sound mean either........

Depth move. D-man with some size - I cannot comment on his "game", as I admit I do not know the player well.....

Big, strong, stay at home Dman for a 5th round pick in a draft where we have 6 picks in the first 3 rounds?

Well played MB

I like what i'm reading about him on the main board. Apparently he's a reliable and physical bottom pairing defensemen and a good insurance policy to have.

I'll wait to see it myself before passing judgement but for a 5th pick i won't cry if the move doesn't pan out
