Clowe wants to come to NY as a rental instead of VAN?
Easier travel schedule. 30 years old. Has been banged up. I think NYR for Clowe, makes sense.

Its a pretty big list.

The fuss about him is pretty easily understandable. He's having a bad season after having injury problems, and there is some concern that he'll be on the wrong side of 30 soon. But that said, as most people who have been fussing about him have acknowledged, he's not worth it if the price is too high (either as a rental, or if he asks for too much of a bump to his salary).
I was just thinking we needed more of that on this team.

This year, he's not playing well and he's going to be a rental from the sounds of it. I don't understand why they want him at all.

Unless this season's suckiness has been a facade to then come out awesome during the playoffs, I don't get it.
I know many hate him but Richards has been playing better, he's been skating better. Gaborik has put himself in good positions to score, he is about to break out. This team has good players. They can definitely get hot.

I'm not even alluding to the "dream" aspect. For Clowe at this point in his career, it's a better spot than Vancouver.

Wonder if they use picks to get Clowe, then move Boyle, and get picks back for him?

Is there any indication that Glencross is going to be traded or is he just someone that posters think would fit well here?

Is Vancouver closer to Detroit after the playoffs?

Elliotte Friedman mentioned Glencross was a trade target for a few teams and that the Rangers were interested.

How long does it take to ask a guy where he wants to go. Ryan, you want to go to the Rangers or Vancouver, we have trades with both teams ready.

Boom.

Good to know, thanks. He could be good here if the price is reasonable.

Freidman's 30 thoughts columns linked the Rangers to Glencross this week.

Idgi. After all the very smart posts about our ****** center depth we're still talking about moving Boyle for wingers? I don't like the idea of that at all and I'm not even a huge Boyle fan

I really don't get it either.

Especially with how solid Boyle has been in the playoffs for us.

Reminder that #SJSharks Clowe -- as he told us yesterday -- has control over where he ends up. Not an "eight teams I won't go to" setup.

Clowe, you're being real slow, bro. So speed up the show and go with the flow because we want to be in the know, Brian Boyle is a terrible skater.
