Who wins the Art Ross Trophy?

With Sid out, he has a 10 point lead on Stamkos in points, but with 12-15 games remaining in the season I doubt he holds on..or does he? Who wins it?

(Just used the current leading point getters)

Stamkos or St.louis if Cooper can fix their terrible PP woes.

Kane with an outside shot aswell, those 3 are the main candidates right now, unless someone pulls a Corey Perry type of finish.

Stamkos or Crosby if he comes back soon enough. Kane has no chance playing in the West. Kane is #1 scorer in the West and will keep this position

East is 1479 goals in 530 games = 2.79 goals per game per team

West is 1440 goals in 528 games = 2.73 goals per game per team

So adjusting Kane's 42 points to an eastern total he would no have 42.95

Congratulations.

Hahaha nice.

I think crosby wins, I think he'll play 3 games in the regular season and he'll edge out stamkos barely.

If no return from Crosby, anyone think Malkin could somehow pull it off?

Unless he scores a little over 30pts in the next 12 games.. I'm not betting on it.

Kane has no chance because Stamkos is better offensively.

Stamkos will likely get another 16-19 points.

Crosby will likely play another 5-7 games. Can he get 6-9 points in 5-7 games? Without a doubt

Kane or Stamkos. Kane has been playing out of his mind lately (15/16 points in the last 9 I think) and if he keeps that up, he probably wins. Safe pick is definitely Stammer though.

If everyone else in the league gets injured, is there any chance Gomez takes it?

I think if you look at situation opponents and current play... Taylor Hall could get there...

-Has 20 points in last 12 games
-Needs 20 points in next 12 to tie Crosby

Opponents:

vs. CGY X 2... 4 pts in 2 GP
vs. VAN X 2... 4 pts in 3 GP
vs. LAK... 2 pts in 2 GP
vs. ANH X 3... no GP
vs. PHX... 1 pt in 1 GP
vs. MIN X 2... 0 pts in 1 GP
vs. COL... 7 pts in 4 GP
vs. CHI... 2 pts in 1 GP

Calgary Colorado lottery teams... so chance for blowouts... Edmonton has Chicago and Vancouver number recently... X factor is Anaheim and Minny... Hall has never scored a ton against either

Still though he is "in the zone" and as hot as any player in NHL right now...

I think it's more likely he cools off a bit, rather than keep up the same pace for 12 more games.

My bet would be on Stamkos, but if Crosby can play atleast 5 more games it's him.

I think if Crosby gets 5 more games he still wins it.

I think Crosby still wins. It doesn't seem like he should actually be out that long (with the new titanium plates they're using vs wiring the jaw shut). If he plays 5-7 more games, I think he scores enough to hang onto the top spot.

I haven't followed the status on the Crosby injury, but I'll predict:

If Crosby plays 2+ games, he wins.
If Crosby plays 1 or less games, Stamkos wins.
If pigs fly, Brodeur wins.

Not impossible from him though. Especially with the extra time and these new wingers.

No because AHL'ers would **** him up, seeing as they'd be called up to replace the league.
