Hudon is money when it counts. I'm just afraid he won't be able to make it physically as he's always injured. I don't think he'll join the Bulldogs. It was well know Hudon wasn't 100% healthy during that series.
If he didn't seem to make Patches look like a cub in the Wolverine Regeneration Department then I'd be more concerned but you're right I hope he can keep the injuries to a minimum next year. He seems strong for his size so hopefully it was just bad luck. He's my favourite prospect for sure.

He's a pest and I like it the way he never backs down but at the same time, it brings him more questionnable hits just like it does to Gallagher. His style of play doesn't work well for an injury prone player. I really hope he'll be healthy next season. Chicoutimi should trade him to a contender and he'll make the WJC. Big season coming up.

Any idea what's up with Bozon's hand? Tattoo? Injured?

Don't know about the pic but that reporter said Bozon was missing the game with a hand injury.

You probably need an instagram account.

Happy it's a hand injury and not a concussion.

Hand injuries often involve a concussion as well.

But more often to the opponent.

The Bulldogs could sign Greg Carey/Hamiltonian/C from the College Ranks to play alongside Danny Kristo/RW and Antoine Laganiere/Montrealer/LW to form a great line to start next season on the right foot. All three are expected to have bright careers in the NHL,both Carey and Laganiere are free agents that will not cost the Habs draft picks or any players to sign.Too good to pass on,just depends on their asking prices.Go Habs Go! There are three other centers available,so if they miss on one they have three more turns.Hopefully the Habs are lucky enough to sign a couple more like Kristo,as he's already a Habs draft pick. The two top College free agent defencemen Dekeyser and Sustr have signed with Detroit and Tampa Bay already. As soon as these players finish their senior seasons like Kristo has the rest will be signing.Montreal tried unsuccessfully to sign Dekeyser whose favorite team growing up was Detroit and Nick Lidstrom his Idol as a kid phoned to reassure him he was making the right choice.Let's hope Guy Lafleur and other Habs try to use their influence in signing some of these free agents.

He's done with Habs, they won't resign someone too lazy to even show up in shape. Guy thinks he's better than he is in his own mind.

Maybe he's injured?

I remember seeing something on him getting hurt in a game, does anyone know if he's still injured?

Washington just signed Nate Schmidt to a two year deal, the Minnesota free agent defenceman, that makes three Dmen signed this last week.Dekeyser with Detroit,Sustr with Tampa Bay the others.Would love to see the Habs sign Mike Boivin D from Colorado and Rylan Schwartz C,then Alex Krushelnyski next season.

Don't count on it. Carey as already said that he's returning to St. Lawrence next season.

I know My own selfish reasons begs the question. Is there a way to sign him while letting him finish the last month or 2 of academics? I like the kid no doubt.

I don't think there is anything preventing that, Pateryn last year did it, signed, didn't go to Hamilton, finished school, same when we signed Brandon Nash as a FA.

Some minor notes on 2 of our NCAA prospects. Assuming Mac Bennett does return to Michigan they are sure going to need him with Merrill and Trouba gone. If Bennett left Michigan would be in big trouble, losing their top 3 blueliners but even if he returns you have to wonder how the team will do in their new conference losing 2 of the top 3 blueliners.

Also will be interesting to see who the new coach at Denver will be and what impact it may have for Didier who will be an upperclassman next year so he should see a bigger role but a new coach will want to do things his way one would assume.

Anyone knows if the Habs have 4 years or 2 years to sign Pribyl?

Found this :

Quote:
NHL Clubs who draft European Players age 18 or 19 shall obtain four (4) years of exclusive negotiating rights following selection in the Draft. NHL Clubs who draft European Players age 20 or older shall obtain two (2) years of exclusive negotiating rights following selection in the Draft. If the four-year or two-year (as appropriate) period expires, Player will be eligible to enter the League as a Free Agent and will not be subject to re-entering the Draft.
http://www.nhl.com/nhl/en/v3/ext/CBA...2013%20(1).pdf

Not sure if this applies to players drafted before the CBA

I heard 2 years but I was hoping for 4 as the extra time to work on his skating would benefit him.

Yeah but isn't the fact that he's in the Czech one of the reasons for his poor skating? The sooner he is with us to develop that part of his, the better right?

Right, but if we did have two more years before signing him, that's 2 more summers of getting him here for development camps to work with him and give him things to work on throughout the season.
