Taylor Hall hart consideration?

If Taylor Hall finished with 50-55 points and the oilers make the playoffs, do you think he gets a nomination or even wins the hart?

If the Oilers make the playoffs and he keeps playing and scoring at this level, he'll get a bit.

Frankly, though, Crosby could miss the rest of the year and I'd still give it him

East Coast media won't even consider it.

Probably not, but he does become the captain.

I hardly think so. As long as Horcoff is here, he will be the captain.

Maybe if the Oilers go 13-0 the rest of the way and Hall has 30 points in that span.

In other words, no.

Yeah I agree, I think they were already carving his name in it before he got injured.

Very unlikely. I'd still bet on Crosby.

All you have to do to convince anyone is say "Look at Chris Kunitz' numbers"

This! The fact the Hall/Seguin debate isn't an absolute landslide shows just how biased the East is

Who cares?

Kadri is a shoo-in for the Hart.

he's playing well, but nowhere near that well. I'm an oiler fan and I wouldn't consider him right now.

I agree. the OP is full of sugarplums and faries at the moment.

Pretty sure you could reverse Hall and Crosby's numbers, and you still wouldn't see Hall take the Hart.

If Crosby can't come back within the next 10-14 days...I think it becomes a race again.

Even then...Hall has some work to do before he's even on the radar.

He'd need to be a top 5 point getter, no?

All things considered, not much chance of this. Too many other players to consider with better years probably.

I hope no one else sees this thread. I mean he's playing great but not in that realm yet.

He's looked like he's in beast mode the past few games, but as others have mentioned, he'd have to maintain it from now to the end of the season... and that's just to get consideration. Not impossible, but unlikely.

No, not unless he posts 30 points in last 13 games
