And you think Leblanc's a good piece. Range of opinion is fantastic, isn't it?

The truth likely lies somewhere in between, but Calgary's still not interested. So what's the point of pushing it?

Then we'll have to agree to disagree. I'm not arguing anymore. This is what I see from Leblanc, and I'm glad even Feaster isn't stupid enough to trade Glencross in a deal with him as the centrepiece.

I suggest other Flames fans do some research on the situation before you jump to accept these veteran-for-anything type of trades.

The Flames are in no need to move Glencross, the guy is a very good scorer, he's not old, he's on one of the best contracts in the league and he's not a rental. He's a fierce forechecker and a very good penalty. So unless the offer blows the Flames socks off then he's not moving. so LeBlanc and Weber are of no interest a 2nd round pick andwon't get it done. Decent to good prospect and a 1st or prepare to hear dial tone

But I'll send you Nemisz, Akim Aliu and a second for Prust

Inconsistent? You mean Glencross, who makes $2.55M, isn't as consistent as other players making the big bucks?

We're not trying to pass of Glencross as something he's not. He has his flaws. Sometimes he let's his emotions get the best of him.

But fact is, he is a very good player making average player money.

Also, if you could provide a list of all the 25 goal scoring 3rd liners in the league, I'd appreciate it.

So ya back on topic, Glencross isn't really that valuable no matter how much you pump his tires. Higgins just got a contract at around the same value and he is a better player.

Him. Okay then. If that's what you think.

Clearly whatever potential this thread had is now completely gone.

With most GM's, yes. With Feaster....

That said, as a Habs fan, I'd love to have GlenX, but he has a full NMC, and would he waive for Montreal even IF the Habs proposed something that the Flames could work with? I doubt it.
