Yandle is a liability on the back end. Gives away much of the positives he gets at the other end of the ice. Nice talent offensively. He would drive NY fans crazy. Let him go to PHL.

I think he will help them move the puck away from their zone leading to more time in the attacking zone. They have a ton of defensive guys.

Winnipeg could be the perfect landing spot for Gaborik in the right trade. They need a right winger in the worst way. Right now, Gaborik is a right winger in the worst way.

Gaborik for Burmistrov and a defenseman? Just sayin...
Not sure WPG would want Gaborik.

Yep, I didn't mean here, but in Philly with Schenn, Grozzman, Coburn, Mezsaros, Timmonen they need a puck mover.

I'd be okay with Burmistrov and a #1 as the return.

Yeah, they weren't thrilled with the amount we gave up for a guy who is struggling so much lately.

Detroit has the high end center prospects to win the Yandle sweepstakes.

A kid with great hands, high compete level, and a top-end two-way game isn't your kind of player?

They're moving him because he doesn't get along with the coaching staff there and they need an upgrade on the wing. He's the best piece they can afford to move to bring in a talent on the RW.

only way they can move Boyle is if they get a 3rd line C back

Pyatt can be moved for a pick or a Dman though

Agreed. Loved the kid in his draft year. Just needed to fill out his frame and he'd be a fantastic player.

Proposed something around Hainsey, Burmistrov and a pick for Gaborik a few weeks ago. Would be a coup for this team.

Would help with the cap issues and give this team a legitimate 3rd line center right now and more in the future.

I'm going to get killed for this, but he has Datsyuk qualities to his game. He is sneaky-good defensively.

I think he will eventually develop into a ROR or Bergeron-type. Having Stepan, Miller, Lindberg and Burmistrov down the middle with the wild card of Nieves as well would be HUGE for this team moving forward.

I like Burmistrov. I don't know why the Jets would move him...but if the rumors of clashes with the coaching staff are true - we feel good about him coming to play here?

There are so many names that could really help this team out. I'm excited. Deadline is at 3 PM EST?

I agree with you. Very similar game and very similar talents. I don't think he has 90 point offensive upside, but I think he could be a fantastic 2nd line center who can play in any situation.

This is probably a dumb question but when exactly is the trade deadline? Like what time is the deadline? Just asking cause I'm at work and I want to be able to follow along.

There are three or four teams interested in Buffalo's Drew Stafford. #TRADETRACKER
I don't think the Rangers are one of them.

What happened to Yandle? Even last year people were adamant that he wouldn't get traded and was one of the most unheralded defensemen in the league and so on
