You don't think it proves anything negative as well?

Awesome! He went from not being able to make your top 9 to not making your top six. Give it another half season or so and he might actually be grudgingly promoted to your second line.

Good player that was put in the NHL way to early in Toronto. Great to see his career taking off, sucks it's not with us.

What negative is there? Tlusty is 25 years old and playing with Semin and Staal. I'd be shocked if he could NOT perform at this level with those players.

We ended up with Stuart Percy after wheeling and deal Paradis with other parts, and he projects to be a very smart top 4D.

In his last 10 games he has 4 goals and 1 assist, 3 of those 5 points coming last night.

I don't understand why Burke traded him for Paradis. He basically traded something for absolutely nothing.

Yes, ignore the actual trade, combine the actual asset received for Tlusty (Paradis) along with unrelated assets (Stalberg plus another player) and then trade them all, take the asset received from that trade (Versteeg), and trade him for a pick, then convert the pick into Percy. See guys, the Leafs traded Tlusty straight up for Percy.

And anyway, Tlusty is old (just turned 25 omg) and is leaching off of Semin.

edit: Tlusty leads all Canes forwards in blocked shots.

As a Leafs fan I can confirm that Tlusty is a bust.

ok guys we get it, tlusty developed 3 years later.

He always showed promise on the leafs, and im pretty sure he was their top scorer in the AHL or among them. Bad Coaching imo.

i believe Maurice/Wilson were his NHL coaches in Toronto, Maurice gets fired in Carolina and Tlusty starts to show something since then. Probably not coincidence.

The leafs seem to do that with most of their high draft picks. Perhaps they've finally learned with Kadri.

Dude sends naked pics of himself, he was ripped apart in Toronto. He needed to go to a city where hockey is at the bottom of the totem pole and no disrespect for tlutsy who's playing great, Staal and semin have a huge reason for his success. As a leafs fan we got Percy who can potentially be a solid top 4 dman

Still don't know why the leafs gave up on him. I mean, it's one thing to trade for value, but we simply just gave up on him and gave him away.

I don't get this. Paradis was a throw in. You could have replaced him with any other long term low upside prospect and still gotten Versteeg.

If you want to say that Tlusty got you Percy, more power to you. I just don't personally understand it.

The Leafs DID NOT have an Eric Staal to put him with, or an Alex Semin to also throw on the line....

I lose no sleep about this, he wouldn't be anywhere close these numbers had he stayed in Toronto... Besides, our offense is looking very promising these days anyway...

Most Leafs fans aint even shook
