Robbery.
If they want a scoring winger and are willing to deal Burmistrov, you have to start somewhere, and it's not going to be with Pominville and a 1st for whatever else they want to throw in.

Tough choice. Can Burmistrov replace at least some of ennis' speed and secondary scoring? We become way less dynamic offensively with enzo gone

Hmmmm.... I'd pass after thinking about it a bit.

In case anyone wants to, um, interact with TBN, they're running a deadline day live chat at 11:00 a.m. I'm formulating Mike Harrington misquote questions, as well as "it's all the fans' fault" questions.

Yandle price is steep. Two impact forwards, including someone who can be No.1 centre. Not getting traded unless offer PHO can't refuse.

can anyone give me some background on Burmistrov? Why do so many people here like him? I don't know much about him at all, which is why I ask. His numbers this year don't look that great and he was a healthy scratch the past 4 games. I'm assuming there's something I'm missing...

Basically says Pommer is being discussed with CBJ, LA, Det, and Min. Stafford with LA as well.

I think it's the case of him being a young former top 10 overall pick at a position the Sabres could use help at that makes him attractive.

He hasn't hit his potential and perhaps a change of scenery would help.

Personally, he isn't the type of player I want on the Sabres. He strikes me as a guy that is long on talent and short on work ethic and heart.

Basically, he strikes me as Eastern Europe's answer to Tim Connolly.

The Sabres don't need more of that kind of player, IMO.

I think that's way off. He's too good of a defensive center at such a young age to be "lazy." I think there's untapped offensive potential there, too.

Not that anyone should have thought differently, but:

3 hours and change to make a deal and get the paperwork in. If we don't hear anything by ~1:00, I don't think we'll hear anything.

Maybe.

How about I don't like the fact that he isn't great at the faceoff dot and isn't the biggest 3rd line center around?
