Shame on those Santas, what did the poor kids there all think of seeing their beloved December hero(s) fighting? I was laughing so hard, I had to show my husband- he said he wishes they would show it on TV.

aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh, rivalries in NY- good times.

Flying Elvises, brawling Santa's? where's Tie Domi when you need him? but I'll say this- what a great idea by the Rangers fans We used to have the father of one of my neighbors come around when we were kids to visit on Christmas Eve and he was pretty good but one year he was very jolly and my parents made me go upstairs and yell down what I wanted....unfortunately I said "when I'm 18 whatever your on "

It’s just a Snow job as Flyers fall again

During the first intermission, the promoters thought it was a good idea to have all those free Santas to parade onto the ice. So down they came in semi-orderly fashion, until two of the Santas stripped off their suit tops to reveal that most hated of icons in this Islanders’ den if iniquities -- Rangers jerseys.

Boos soon replaced the caroling in the Coliseum air, and a few Santas took it upon themselves to right these two unsainted imposters’ wrongs. So the guys wearing those Rangers jerseys were jumped, bringing yellow-jacketed security bees buzzing onto the ice while the ArenaVision showed a little kid dressed as Santa joining mom, dad and friends in trying to punch the Rangers Clauses’ beards off.

"Merry Christmas," said Jeremy Roenick.

Christmas spirit. The NHL way!

Kudos to those who jumped the Rangers fans. After all, isn't this what we've all been begging for more of in the NHL these days? Leave it to the Santas to bring some passion and animosity to the ice!
