so this puts the Flyers at 50 contracts. Only trade the Flyers can make now is a player for player deal.

Hall gets a lot of hits and is a decent face-off guy. Basically Talbot's replacement.

FOs

1. Giroux - 483 FOW (410 FOL - 54.1%)
2. Crosby - 453 FOW (381 FOL - 54.3%)
-. Bergeron - 453 FOW (283 FOL - 61.5%)
3. Bozak - 430 FOW (380 FOL - 53.1%)
4. Toews - 428 FOW (276 FOL - 60.8%)
...
74. Couturier - 172 FOW (232 FOL - 42.6%)
94. Schenn - 139 FOW (177 FOL - 44.0%)
125. Hall - 95 FOW (78 FOL - 54.9%)
127. Talbot - 92 FOW (100 FOL - 47.9%)

We desperately needed FO help. Actually, I think it's time for Clarke to put on another FO clinic for Schenn and Couturier like he did with Richards and Carter.

I've wanted the guy for a while, but I think he might be a good replacement for Betts (dedicated 4th line center).

He worked with Giroux as well.

Are the Flyers over the cap? Do they need to move someone to get under?

According to capgeek.com it says we still have over 3.5 million because of LTIR.

Good strategy: the Kids and the Hall.

EDIT: I like this deal as well because there is no end of Hall-related plays on words to which I can look forward.

It's nice to claim guys off waivers instead of losing them.

Equally hilarious because Tampa Bay traded for him after they lost him on waivers. Then, he was waived again. And Tampa got a 7th round pick from Carolina. Couple of geniuses down south there.
