Alex Goligoski Generating Interest?

DAL not shopping D Alex Goligoski but some teams are inquiring. Same as Kulikov in FLA. Names are out there but would have to be good return

Wouldn't be adverse to having him back in Pittsburgh but I doubt we'd have the pieces to do something - nor would I be sure where he could fit in.

I think at this point TSN is desperate to make something up to keep people watching.

I hope Philly is interested. I'd add to snag Couturier from them.

Perhaps something around James Neal and Niskanen?

Or more realistically considering its JN, Kennedy + Engo/Bortz

Stars should move Goli for Kulikov, or, send him to Phoenix in some kind of package for Yandle.

But, with Phoenix being a division rival, it would probably be a tough move.

Not sure if Goli for Yandle would be enough. Not sure what else would have to be included, but Yandle would be a clear upgrade on the blueline there.

Dallas and Phoenix are only division rivals for 13 more games. So that shouldn't factor in.

As for Goli, highly doubt he will be traded. Nieuwy stated that he is one of the core pieces in this rebuild even though most of us would love to trade him for a nice return.

Do you seriously believe Phoenix would move Yandle to acquire another D? The whole rationale for moving Yandle is their depth on D and ability to parlay Yandle into an impact forward.

I'd assume after yesterday everyone on Dallas is probably generating interest.

Has he been that bad that they are even considering giving up on him?

Goli for Neal and Nisakanen sounds fair.

Goligoski + Glennie for Kulikov.

Fixes the two biggest mistakes of GMJN's career.

No way in hell Florida does that though.

He's been a decent points producer... 19 in 33 games. His defensive game is ... bad. He's got no real partner on the team since they don't exactly have a guy who can help him on the right side.

We just have a couple very good prospects who should force him out.

There's only 3-4 guys on their roster right now worth keeping. Benn, Eriksson, Lehtonen and Dillon.

Robidas is getting old. Stars fans aren't really that enthusiastic about anyone else.

This would be my choice. Phoenix is only in our division until the end of April. Do not see a problem

The only problem is that Phoenix would never do it.

If that's the case, what would it cost the Oilers to get Cody Eakin?

Yeah I'd add Eakin to that list to make 5 instead of 4 but that's it.

A package to PHI for Couturier would be ideal.

You'd be adding quite a bit. Golo isn't a #1, IMO.

Golo in my opinion isn't a top pairing defender so it would have to be pretty significant. He's pretty one dimensional, basically a 3-4 defender.
