A good one I see on the entertainment board with all the polls and opinion threads is "AINEC" - "And it's not even close".

I'm thinking something like

WE WANT BJUG-STAD

clap clap - clap clap clap

WE WANT BJUG-STAD

That would be so cool. Eh, I can imagine it at least.
I love the idea, but the question is... how many fans in the arena would actually know who Bjugstad is since he's never played an NHL game yet? We have some extremely knowledgeable fans but I notice every time I go to a game (especially in the upper bowl) of how many "I'm here because the ticket was free." fans we have.

Honestly, why would we play him in a lost season though? I dont mind giving him 5 games but anything more and you burn 1 yr of his ELC and the team wont do that. With the lockout shortened season, anyone playing for 6 games has their contract count as a full yr against their ELC. So if you're under the illusion that he'll sign tomorrow and play the rest of this season, I would forget about it. Maybe they wait another week or so and sign him but then you will only see him for 5 games. I think he's more likely headed to San Antonio if he would sign so he could play in more games.

How many fans would know how to pronounce his name correctly?

I just want to see that guy signed already.. In the back of my head I keep thinking he is going to go all rogue and sign with another team or something.

I keep calling him Beetle-juice when talking to my friends because I always feel like im pronouncing it wrong..

I say it - Beh -YouiG - Stad

Why not a 3 year ELC?

Is Bjugstad going to play right away?

Maybe he goes to SA and plays the last handful of games here? He can play five games without wasting a year on the ELC, right?
