I still don't think Gaborik has what it takes to get it done in the playoffs, and I was afraid that this is more than just a down year, but this return is pretty meh. I am fine with trading him, but thought they could do better and would have preferred he ended up not in our division.
I like it, but would have preffered a high pick too
We agree. Moore is a great pick up.

Brassard's a very good player. Legit 2nd liner anyway and kind of young. I like Dorsett. He'll fit in well as a 3rd/4th liner--he's gradually over time got to the point where he can add some offense. Not very big but tons of sandpaper and hits a lot. Kind of like a larger version of Jordin Tootoo. Moore is still a young d-man. Former 1st round pick--I'm thinking Kreider's draft year.
I like Brassard coming back. Finally Boyle will be on the fourth line where he belongs. But Moore is yet another left-handed defenseman. Dorsett will be good for 3rd/4th. It'd be happier if a 2nd round pick was included.

Reason: Didn't realize Dorsett will be back.
i like our C depth a lot more now. Stepan, Richards, Brassard, Boyle looks much better than it did yesterday. I think the team is better now and has a better shot at going deep in the playoffs than it did yesterday morning.
