Rangers you do know dorsett is out for the year right??? John moore skates great but has been hurt or scratched most of the year. Carry on.
He will be back for the last week and for the playoffs as per what we have heard.

Sad to see Gabby go, but very happy with the return. A very bitter sweet trade. I think Moore can excel with the Rangers. This seems to be a very even trade too. Gaborik as great as he is, isn't the same player. Ever since the Ottawa series in the playoffs when he hurt his shoulder, he just looks like a different guy completely. I still think he scores 30 next year though. Good luck Columbus.
Surprised he was going to Columbus but it's a new challenge and he's looking forward to it. Had time to think about waiving his NTC?.
Enjoyed his time in New York.
Always good that someone wants you.
Looking forward to his time at Columbus and they have a good team for the future.
I think one thing that hasn't been suggested is that Brassard playing for Torts could create some challenges. He's been labeled as "only able to play with a certain coaching style" and that didn't appear to be for coaches like Torts.
Moore is going to be solid. He's a 2nd pair guy with great wheels. I'm sad to see him go but we had the depth that we could afford it. As for Dorsett, he's a team guy and will provide heart but we have a lot of those types with more skill.
Gaborik should be fine under Richards (I think they both were in the MN organization at the same time ???) and can be a game breaker. REality is the CBJ don't have anyone like him at any level in the organization and he's still got years left. Granted C-bus needs to think about another contract depending on next year's (and this playoff push) poduction.
Should be a reasonable deal but I'm pretty comfortable that CBJ didn't give up anythign that wasn't redundant and got an asset that was sorely needed.
I get the feeling that a lot of people saying this is lopsided are picturing Gaborik from last year. He hasn't been the same player at all this season. It's not just a lack of scoring. He's slower. His shot is weaker. Those were his most dangerous assets.
He was a great, great player for NYR and I'll miss seeing the way he played in previous years, but frankly, I'm not sure any team will see that from him again.
Wish NYR got a 1st. I was hoping for Burmistrov and a 1st, but this return does fill some serious needs.
