TSN is dynamic...it updates deals as more info comes out...even the guys on TSN tradebreakers haven't reported the full deal

could turn out to be a really great center core.

But we're really running thin on Wingers.
Larsson can plug in at any forward position.

Ennis, Vanek and Armia are it as far as top 6 types down the line. And that's assuming Vanek stays.

Put him on Cody's wing immediately and hope he adds some defensive awareness to the line????

Bittersweet moment seeing Pommer traded. Knew it was most likely coming, know that the Regier is doing the right thing for the franchise long-term, but I'm still sad to watch him leave.

Still hoping there is/are pick(s) coming back in addition to Larsson and Hackett...

I'd rather see him groomed to be a two way shutdown center.

So do we know yet if there are picks involved? Or will we be waiting until around 4PM?

It would be nice to have even another 2nd rounder. I'd even just love a swap of a 2nd going their way and their first coming our way. Maybe i'm dreaming a bit

I hear the deal could include high drafts as well.

The 30-year-old right winger was asked to submit a list of eight teams to the Sabres that he would not accept a trade to.

Minnesota was not on that list.

Anyone knows how good Hackett is? Will he be NHL ready next year if we trade miller, or will he backup Enroth in that case?

Vanek will be back with Hodgson when healthy and take Pommer's spot.

Seems safe to assume the trade confirmation call with the league is not complete. Once that is, details will firm up if there is anything else involved.

Not sure. Maybe Woodhouse, Bakes, or JFB can chime in.

Here's what Kirk Luedeke, a very good prospect analyst, tweeted at me re: Larsson.

I'd think there has to be picks involved. Pommers is a 1RW. A GM needs to be able to acquire picks so if both prospects fail, he can still point to the picks as memories fade.
