Im not saying their plan is to buy him out, but it seems as though ppl here think trading staff for next to nothing would be addition by subtraction. We might as well keep him and hope his value increases, and if not, worst case-scenario there is no market for him because no one wants his contract you buy him out. Trading him for next to nothing does nothing for them at this point

One of theories floated....Wash has trades Filip Forsberg. If that's the case...return must be huge. #tradecentre

If 3 or 4 teams were kicking the tires, I doubt the offers were 6th rounders for him.

And I believe in addition by subtraction and that's why I want him gone.

I have no idea who he is. I thought we supposed to be quoting only reliable sources?

The only way I could ever see an elite like Ovechkin being traded would be for another supposed elite... which many out there in DC land and elsewhere think Miller is.

Got to admit the excitement got the best of me and I swallowed that hook line and sinker...

Would make sense it's a guy overseas that they're having a problem getting hold of.

Of it is FF, wonder what the details of that trade are.

Erat for Forsberg. I guess Erat wanted out. Interesting. I thought Wash would hold onto Ff.

Informed speculation: Erat for Forsberg, with some other things involved. Erat has a no-trade clause but wants out.

Erat's a good forward but I don't see why they would trade Forsberg for him, kid's got a lot of potential... I guess Washington wants to make a run.

I like Erat a lot but that seems kind of silly. I suppose from Washington's perspective their "window" is closing fast, but I think they're making a mistake there.

If the deal is based around Erat for Forsberg, that's a horrible deal for Washington.
