That's because Frank Servalli used to poop in urinals in the first grade.

Its a third in 2015. I am less upset about this trade. Still probably will not be a good one, but that 2015 third could be a lot less valuable than this year's (and Mason in the long run).

I was listening to NHLradionetwork on Sirius/XM. They interviewed Mason. He talked about how for the past two years he was wearing smaller sized equipment that he was comfortable with but was below the league standards. He said in practice he was fearing the puck bc it would hit him in prone areas etc. In the offseason he got it addressed with the team. So there you have it....Mason sucked these past two years bc of "small" equipment ...sigh!

Yeah I'm not expecting much of this but who knows something could click with Mason. Anyway if this is the worst thing Homer could have done this deadline then I'm fine with it.

Eh you never know. I could see him playing well and people saying cbj gave up too early kinda like jake. Jake was not producing but was very young still and now is prob one of the best wingers this year. Not holding my breath but all he really has to do is match bryzs numbers and we then can buy bryz out and safe cap room and years. I think he can get 2.81 and .900

Good backup with potential. Maybe he can fill in a couple games and still get the W for the team because they need all the wins they can get right now.

Howard Eskin also said that he was told that the season would be canceled 12 hours before the lockout ended.

Yeah but he also has been spot on on a number of things. I think Bryz comes back next year and they decide his fate based on his performance.

But for the 3rd rounder in 2015????? INSANITY

I don't understand how anyone can be pleased or unhappy with this trade. *****ing about a 3rd round pick 2 years from now? Really?

The guy can't be more worthless than Leighton, and a 3rd round pick has almost zero value. How many 3rd round picks are factors in the NHL?

i think so too. they have time before the amnesty deadline and i expect them to use it. hopefully mason is re-signed for cheap and serves as a competent back-up. i doubt he ever turns into a #1 but if he can be decent or put up bryz numbers at least and bryz continues to struggle next year, the flyers may have gotten bryz's replacement for a 3rd. i know i wouldn't be very happy if things turn out that way but hey at least it'll save the team a few mil in cap space.

Idk, I say give the kid a chance. I know he's been horrible the last 3-4 years but maybe we catch a break finally and he turns his career around here. Im not counting on that happening but it could. He's showed potential in his rookie year and is still young so, there are SOME positives....
