Tough with boy of us sellers. It would have to be a kassian like trade.

Or just convince feester 2 2nd rounders is better than their own first.

Unless there's a hockey trade in there (e.g. Backlund, 1st for Pominville, 2nd [bad example, just using it to illustrate]), doubt it.

Thats what im saying maybe darcy can trade 2 2nds and a 3rd or something like that or if they like one of our younger players that darcy feels is expendable plus some picks to even it out .

I'm hearing LA's picks for Regehr are in 2014 and 2015, NOT this year like some have assumed.

This is correct. Per Regier, LA didn't want to give up their second this year because they don't have a first.

Slightly off-topic but is there a site out there that lists who has what/how many draft picks by draft year?

Second rounders gave an 18% chance to play more than a handful of nhl games.

Or two picks in the top 10. One hopefully a top 3er.

Unless Minnesotta's pick somehow becomes a low teens pick you aren't parlaying 2nd rounders and a 16-30 overall pick into a top 10 pick. Not in any draft and especially not in this draft.

It's something we pipe dream about around here every year and it's something that doesn't happen.

Is moving from 16-25 range to 8-10 range using two seconds (one that will likely be 31-35) that much of a reach?

And yet they still remain as the best option outside of a first round pick to get an NHL player.

I think there's more value in trying to hit on three picks rather than trading those three picks for the chance at hitting on one.

Thanks!! I really want to see them be aggressive and package picks to move up. They desperately need a couple of elite prospects, not more "system depth" and whatnot.

BUF has more picks than the above, beyond those rounds. Will try to sort it all out later. That site has the info, just not summarized.
