Did Read miss a shift? I thought I saw Knuble out there with G and Voracek near the end of the period.

No way. If you have surgeons capable of attaching your feet back to your body, and in good enough working order to play in the NHL, then you leave your feet whenever you can deliver a big hit.

Subban went to hit Schenn, but Schenn stood his ground and sent Subban flying. Then Schenn went after him and Subban dropped like a sack of potatoes

Subban roughs Rinaldo, no call. Schenn roughs Subban who throws himself on the ground, roughing.

Tripping on Knuble, no call on the Canadien who tripped Read.

For comparison sake, it was even worse than the Ovechkin high stick.

Subban also seemed to punch Rinaldo. Announcers say he "steamrolled" him, but they were next to each other. Thn the Schenn situation. Subban is basically being a *****.

Honestly, what would a Flyers game be without phantom penalties?

Maybe you're right, but to me it looked like Subban wanted to challenge Schenn but instead he decided to join the rush which I don't see anything wrong with. Potential scoring rush > fighting and Subban getting his ass kicked

Lol I'll admit he used to be one but he's really cleaned up his game in the past year. I saw nothing wrong with him ditching the fight while both players had their gloves on to join the play. Schenn should have just saved his frustration for the 2nd period instead of giving the habs a PP.

I just hope the Flyers don't get angry because of that Subban/Schenn thing and come into the 2nd period playing mean/hard and get the momentum back, Flyers have a way of doing that to the habs.

Edit: for those talking about him dropping his gloves, it was a total embellishment but that is entirely Schenn's fault for giving him that opportunity. Any player would take that chance to get a free powerplay, even Flyer players.

A little bonus for Heeter.

He will make about $8K for sitting on the flyers bench tonight, about 11% of his AHL salary for the year.
