Everybody saw that coming.

Anyway, the Blue Jays have left far too many runners on base tonight.

Just the first game. They have so much power and versatility in that line up its just a matter of time till runs start coming in bunches. I mean over the course of the season. Arencibia/Dickie issues we could've seen coming from a mile away though.

That bases loaded with no outs double play that Lind hit into is going to haunt them if they don't get something going.

If sportsnet insists on playing that stupid Metric song every commercial break, I'm sorry, I can't do that.

I mean I know it's nice to win every game but the nice thing in baseball is they still have 161 games to turn it around. Cleavland isn't no sneeze of a team either they made some nice additions to their team in the off-season as well.

Other than the Jays not capitalizing on a bases loaded no out situation, the biggest story of the game was JP not being able to catch RA. It was actually getting to the point of embarassment. However that should be the last time we see that this season unless their back-up is injured at the same time as the guy they sent to the minors(catcher they acquired with RA).

Apparently Blanco has experience catching the knuckle ball.
I think JP got better eventually, but that second inning he missed 3 pitches that ended up hurting them.
What's really the issue is the same as last year, little to no run support. I think Cleveland retired 18 straight? Brutal.

Ugly, ugly offensive "attack" for the Blue Jays so far this year. They have something like 6 hits through one game and six innings.

Of course it's just two games in but you still expect more than 6 hits in two games from this line-up. 6 hits in one game is disappointing.

the baseball season is long. you can go on a monster 20 game stretch where you are doing awesome like they did before and then suck at the end. the key is not to peak early, and thats really in all sports

every sports team will have ups and downs. the blues jays will make the playoffs, they should and probably will at the end of the day

Cleveland pitchers pitched them tough last year too. Hopefully it's just a blip.

Colby Rasmus is brutal. Despite the positivity surrounding the team I think that he might be on his last legs as a Blue Jay.

I know nothing about baseball but it looks like the highly anticipated blue jays lost their first two games

Blue Jays losing 1-0 already in the bottom of the 1st. The bandwagon is going to be totally empty by the end of the weekend.

Still only 6 hits though and Buerhrle just had a poor inning allowing them to tie it. The Indians are getting a kick out of this. The Blue Jays are going to have a target on their backs all year.

The Blue Jays are still too reliant on the home run. Arencibia just hit his 2nd of the game to give the Jays a 7-6 lead.

Indians are just picking away. 9-8 Blue Jays now. Even Darren Oliver is getting roughed up and he was the definition of reliable last year.
