The team is playing a bad game, but gotta say that the Rangers are actually pumped by their new acquisitions. Terrible back to back game, one more period to go, but they can't even do better than yesterday, i hope they won't go all frustrate. Just shoot that dam puck on net, play simple and show motivation. They are playing teams that fight for a playoff spot, not getting crushed by their wheels.

I'm not sure myself but I know he didn't play against the Isles or Habs and we looked pretty bad in those games too but won due to good goaltending.

yeah, the guys missing excuse doesnt fly with me either. we supposedly have this great depth, but they came out acting like the rangers were just going to lay down. maybe all the trades made the pens think they were unstoppable and teams wouldnt play hard against them..

It's just too much. And, odd as it sounds, I think you need Letang or Martin back the most, because even Sid needs a guy to give him a fast, accurate outlet.

Letang would go a long way in helping the 5 on 5 play. Our PP will still be brutal however as his fake slapper has only worked twice in the past 5 years.

No, we need people like him. Without people like him, there would be no designation for "smart, contributing members of society"

I find it funny that many Pens fans have been ripping the team the whole night, but when someone else starts ripping us everyone got all defensive

We just need bodies back. Especially our PMD.

The only person pissing me off right now is DB.

We knew he'd stick with Iginla-Malkin-Neal to the bitter end. It's pretty clear Iginla isn't a fit there.

Bortuzzo and all the D are running around like thier heads are cut off.
There are actual pairings that have worked this season at his disposale. Eaton-Niskanen were good to great during the streak. Orpik needs help. Play him with Despres. And pair up Murray with Engelland or Bortuzzo and pray for them. Very simple stuff here folks.

Good forecheck by Morrow lead to the Dupuis goal.

Sigh. No. You don't miss anymore more than you miss the BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD, the MVP, and the league's leading scorer. You don't miss Letang more than him. You don't miss Martin more than him. You don't miss Erik Karlsson more than him. You don't miss Megan Fox more than him. You don't miss anyone more than you miss THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD.

- My 2009 Cup Pint Glasses are the most jinxed thing since the blue jerseys. I literally will never drink from them again except in summer, after FA is done. Every year when I have a beer in one these glasses while watching a game (or even a soda), bad **** happens. CURSED I tell yinz.

no one, and I mean NO ONE is allowed to rip on this team.

Geno
Iggy
Neal
Morrow
Sutter
Kunitz
Dupuis
Orpik
Despres

Should never get outplayed this badly. Never. This is like watching a team from the pre-season play a team at the end of the season.
I agree with that, but you can't have a game plan predicated on defensemen who make fast, accurate outlet passes and then maybe actually have one on the ice. You can't have a game plan predicated on defensemen having great gap and taking away space high in the offensive zone and then have those defensemen racing to see who can back off most on a rush.

It goes way beyond just effort on this one. It's effort and the worst possible mix of game plan and available personnel.

Pascal Dupuis has more goals than everyone else who scored tonight put together.
