Plus if we need a save tomorrow and Janssen can't go back to back we have Santos who was the closer to start last year. Luxury we didn't have last year
Never under estimate Farrell's stupidity with a bullpen...

Pitched quite well. Would have been better if it weren't for the fact that the Indians got a bloop or chopper hit everytime they hit the ball. Morrow was unlucky

He managed a bullpen like he was trying to get fired. It's almost like he didn't want to be here...

Oh, wait...

There's a train of thought among some that closers should only be put in when they can earn the save. Personally I don't agree with it, but the specialization of the closer role has created that idea.

so. how many innings do they play now? until they score? so they could go to like 20 or something?
that's kinda cool.
play until someone wins. And if we run out of pitchers in the bullpen, then we start putting position players on the mound.

You almost did it Casey. Almost. Fielder's choice suffices though.

Overall solid, his pitching was shaky in the first couple of innings, but he was good in the in field.

That's just stupid. If the closer truly is your best reliever, he should be equally effective coming in for a save situation as he would be coming in to start any inning regardless of score.

To hell with the drinking game, I'm going to just plain need to start drinking to cope with this damn song being played all the time.
