Any theories on why the defense looks better without Coburn, Grossmann and Mezaros?

Am I going mad or do Gervais, Huskins and Lauridsen actually look kind of solid out there.

I believe Simmonds last 3 goals have come after taking some sort of facial damage, and then playing like a demon afterwards.

Should we start planning who to take with the 15th overall pick?

Its nothing more that the club coming together as a team.......Sometimes folks play their best as underdogs and when adversity hits......Its that way in many endeavors including war !

So if this game was yesterday, you think Homer would have made some moves today?

Forwards getting back. Dmen are just chipping pucks out instead of trying to make the perfect pass. Basically a team committed to defense.

People will wonder why you're highlighting the 80th-90th percentile range

Save percentage can be a VERY misleading stat.........Bryz made a few biggies tonight and got the win.........And has played like 20 straight games etc ?

crazy bounces true but Flyers pretty much controlled the flow of the game IMO. They were aggressive on the puck and played a decent defensive game. Thats Flyers hockey!! We were known as the hardest working team in hockey. I think Simmonds alone epitomized that .

Huskins is better than I expected, Lauridsen is impressing and Gervais has stepped up his game a lot. Some people on the main boards said they thought he was the worst defenseman in the league when he played for them... well right now, he definitely isn't.

Also, we have to give props to Lavy in the last 3 games. He adapted our game/lines to the injuries very well.

Out shot
Out chanced
Great defence
Dominated the whole game , and we need 4 to win. Love TSN ripping Bryz on highlights, he is one. Give Mason the keys for rest of year as an audition.
