Happy with how they played, but I'm not going to get too excited about the new guys.

Remember when Voros scored like 5 goals in his first games. And we all know how that turned out.

Good job Clowe, Brassard and Moore. Now follow it up with another good game.

Crosby-less Penguins.
We have to keep that in mind, but the Rangers looked like a team that effortlessly embraced things we always kept hoping they would, like just going directly to the net, shooting from the point, blocking the goalie's vision.

There have been a plethora of games where Crosby was out of the lineup and we still ended up getting shredded.

What I loved about these Rangers: they hit and they hit and they hit..and scored a few here and there.

Love to see how they follow this up in a city they always seem to struggle playing in.

Voros was a career minor leaguer that had a hot streak, can't compare him to these players.

Now, they won't play like these every night, but I hope they can provide the grit and spark on a consistent basis (especially Clowe).

AWESOME win!

Boyle looked great on Brassards wing. I have been calling for it for years now. He needs to play wing.

Despite the 6 goals. This team actually gave a full 60 minutes of effort!.. When is the last time we seen that? Even when we were up 5-1 going into the 3rd they kept playing.

the most evident change tonight, was that the rangers played confident. every line has a big physical presence. nash isn't a fighter, but i do think he draws a lot of attention and allows the other guys space. same with clowe and cally and asham. it will be even better with dorsett coming back, moving boyle to the fourth line (i'm assuming). i have seen the rangers win big before. but against a boogeyman team like the pens, to physically dominate for 60 mins is completely new and...most welcome
