this is exactly the kind of win this team needed not only with the new guys but just for the course of a season, regardless of whether or not pitt came to play and was tired this game will be a huge confidence boost to the team, showing we can clearly score and win without gaborik and giving the new guys confidence to know they fit in on this team.

Great game by everyone on the team.

James Neal is a punk though and he's plays very reckless and dirty. Someone needs to give him a pounding one day.

I think Penguins were playing bad but to be honest the Rangers have played terrible games against them in the past even when they were playing terrible and getting destroyed by teams like the Islanders, then they'd play the Rangers and look like the best defensive team ever.

I think it's a pretty big mental victory for the Rangers to dominate the game like that

Agreed. I was hoping Clowe would after Neal slewfooted someone early.

But it's totally shocking to see the golden boys play dirty, isn't it? Makes so much sense to see those losers play so reckless since they never get called for it.

Also, Richard's goal on the PP. Richards had a great game today. Perhaps his best of the season.

That's two wins in a row now. Time to make that push for the 6 seed and get cozy.

8 of the last 12 on the road. Going to be a serious grind.

I was grinning ear to ear when scored his first.
My kid already asked for his jersey.

And what invaded Bryan Boyle's body?
Maybe, getting away from the franchise that drafted you #6 overall, and all of the expectations that come with such matters, and going to a team that already has both a veteran center like Richards, and a young stud like Stepan, allows Brassard the opportunity to find his place without the burden he's been accustomed to.

I dont care if we win or lose.. (I mean I do but).. as long as we put that kind of effort into every game I'll be a happy fan. Thats all you can ask for from a team is effort, and tonight they gave it.

Some people really need to get a grip.

When we suck we deserve to criticize and complain but to still ***** and moan even when we play well and get the lucky bounces just smacks of pathetic.

Enjoy the win for what it was, Pens weren't great and we played well and took advantage.

Let's hope. His passing was unbelievable. Like I said earlier -- we have not had that type of playmaking since Nylander left.
