Same can be said for posters who love eller it's very black and white when it comes to eller.

Nothing wrong with PK's hit on Schenn. You only hear Habs fans talk about not hitting because it may incite the other team. Really?

It had been a while that I had not gotten so mad after a loss.

On the bright side, how the hell did we make it through 82 games of this last season

Eller was so-so tonight. Stats wise, obviously not great but he was hot and cold. I think he started well, and was inconsistent later on. He'll get some valuable experience covering for Plek over the next week or so though. Could do wonders for him.

Desharnais would have been -4 a lot of you would have thrown him under the bus and would have said how small he is.

A bad game happens to Eller and he's not bad and it's not his fault. Come on... Tonight he coukd handle playing against the opponent top line.

That being said... He should have his chance on the 2nd line and Galchenyuk should have a spot as a third line center.

If Plec doesn't play tomorrow I'd like to see...

Pacioretty Desharnais Gallagher
Ryder Eller Gionta
Prust Galchenyuk Dumont
Blunden Halpern Moen

If Plek and Pac doesn't play tommorrow... I'd consider trying Kristo Leblanc or Collberg...

Travis Moen, Francis Bouillon and Alexei Emelin out for a couple games. Jarred Tinordi, Ryan White and Nathan Beaulieu in.

Not a panick mode or knee jerk, just think they deserve to play over these guys. Let the odl guys rest up for hte playoffs.

You have a lot of work to do.

There are a lot of posts that lists the bad players from tonight.........starting with Price all the way down the list.

It would be nice to see you standing up for those players as well.

But we did have only one player with a -4.

But all in all, hockey is a team game and this team looked disjointed with Pleks off the ice and lines juggled.

Well he did draw a penalty which was good, but like the poster I quoted let sleeping dogs no need to get the opposing team fired up

It could and should.

If there's one thing though, an obvious one, and it's not a knoeck on Eller, DD or other C...

but we couldnt last 2 period without #14, it shows how much better he makes our team. we have NO ONE ready to take his spot for now... in a year or two maybe, but not now.

Still kinda mad Simmonds had the goal.

If Emelin could've managed to deflect it in, the hypothetical Bouillon hat trick becomes the Emelin hat trick. Bonus: 3 own goals in a game.

Won't happen with all the injuries but I really think that Galchenyuk would benefit from sitting a couple games.

Eller should never play with Gionta or Ryder. No chemistry at all.

And that is not a shot at Eller. Some players cannot do well together.

It kinda sucks that tomorrow will be the Habs 3rd game in 4 nights and against a rested team and with injuries piling up.. Could be another long game again tomorrow.

Perhaps when Bourque is back. Galch simply needs to recharge his batteries and refocus his approach. I`ll give him credit for not being discouraged and trying to work through the rookie wall, but he`s simply gassed, I hope he can rest and be ready for playoffs.
