Please please no serious injury for Plek. Otherwise, it'll be a disaster.

The team was flat during the last two periods and it may be because they were shocked Plek had to leave the game with an injury.

To a playoff matchup with the leafs. Assuming that these injuries are not longer than a week. (Don't want to think about Patch cuz I already feel on the verge of depression about Pleks being out).

Plekanec:
missed the game...but the above gives me lots of hope for Pleks in being ok. Thanks for info. A recent post mentioned something about Pleks being cut, but that doesn't seem true...it might just be a minor groin injury? I hope he takes his time and doesn't rush back...we just need him to be 100% for the playoffs.

Pacioretty:
does anyone know what happened to Pacioretty? how it happened?
Right ankle? Did it look serious? thanks.

Think he took a subban slapper off the foot.

Pacioretty took a shot from Subban on the ankle in the first period. His ankle I guess must have swelled up after the game. Does not look good. I hear he was on crutches

Thanks, guys. Appreciate the info.

I'm actually staying positive...might not be so serious...a bit of rest...as long as ankle is not broken...as usual we'll have to wait a day or two to know more...will not sleep well now! And, crutches...it could just be a very smart prevention...so as not to put any weight on it...heal it as fast as possible before playoffs.

Long wait till tomorrow or after tomorrow to know more.

Go HEALTH Go!! (please...everyone be 100% for playoffs).

Confirmed

@Dave_Stubbs: Per @zababes1, #Habs Therrien confirmed groin injury for Plekanec. Status day-to-day, unlikely tonight; uncertain Saturday vs #Bruins

Pretty much, he plays against guys like Crosby, Giroux, Nash, Staal, Tavares and al' every single game.

Giving this role to Eller may be a great learning experience for him, but I doubt the guy will do as well, he maybe ready in a few months/years, but not now. Plekanec's role is not one you rush a kid into, player need to be groomed into it.

Guess we'll see what Eller can do in that role because he is the only option at this point.

He may surprise us though, we've been somewhat lucky this season with our youngsters, all of them are doing well given their role on the team.

I think theres a posibility that Kristo and Leblanc get called up.

Is White still not ready?

Galchenyuk can also play center and eat up some minutes. He's had a discrete role the last few games but has been playing rather well. He can step up I'm sure. Give Plecky and patches time to recover.

I wouldn't mind Leblanc getting called up, he's been better lately and it'd probably help his confidence a bit. Doubt we'll see Kristo, but it'd be nice to see what he could do.

Ryder - Eller - Gionta
Galchenyuk - Desharnais - Gallagher
Prust - Halpern - Leblanc
Moen - Dumont - Blunden

Yikes we need to get some bodies back soon.

It's actually pretty funny.

He's been here two years and 10 posts.

Why not put Chucky at 3rd line center?

So we don't have to see Prust/Moen in our top 6. Would rather see Galchenyuk at centre but I just want to see him get more minutes on an offensive line.

Why wouldn't Dumont be called up? He has some game experience and played very well.
