Winnipeg Jets vs. Montreal Canadiens

Since there is no GDT up yet and no one is scheduled to do one I've decided to change the pre-game talk thread into a GDT.

Winnipeg Jets
record: 18-18-2 for 38 pts. They're on a 4 game losing streak and are 3-7-0 in last 10.

Ladd - Little - Byfuglien
Kane - Jokinen - Wheeler
Tangradi - Burmistrov - Miettenen
Santorelli - Gagnon - Thorburn

Enstrom - Bogosian
Hainsey - Postma
Stuart - Clitsome

Pavelec (15-17-2; 2.84 ga/a; .904%)
Montoya

PP: 13.3%, (27th overall)
PK: 79.1% (23rd overall)

GF: 93 (11th in East)
GA: 115 (14th in East)
Diff: -22 (14th in East)

Evander Kane knocks out Matt Cooke (just because it was awesome and so is he)

The link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WKAY7BETEg

Montreal Canadiens
record: 23-8-5 for 51 pts. We've lost 1, and are 6-3-1 in last 10.

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Gallager
Ryder - Eller - Gionta
Galchenyuk - Halpern - Prust
Moen - Dumont - White or Blunden

Markov - Emelin
Gorges - Subban
Bouillon - Drewiske

Budaj (5-1-1; 2.47 ga/a; .906%)
Price

PP: 20.9% (9th overall)
PK: 81.5% (13th overall)

GF: 114 (2nd in East)
GA: 89 (4th in East)
Diff: +25 (2nd in East)

Lars Eller's 4 goal, 5 point performance against the Jets last season (because it was awesome. Let's hope he repeats it tonight.)

That's it, folks. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Habs!

Wolverine is injured...I hope we call up Leblanc/Dumont (maybe Kristo).

Ryder Desharnais Gionta
Galchenyuk Eller Gallagher
Prust Halpern Leblanc
Moen Dumont Blunden/White

PS : I have no clue what to do with those lines lol.

This! I think it's time for Leblanc to show us what he can do.

I forgot that! DAMN.

We will need to call someone up if Patches can't go tomorrow either. We would only have 11 forwards available in that case.

Let's hope none of the injuries are long term.

If both Pleks and Pacioretty miss this game and with it being the Habs 3rd game in 4 nights after watching tonight's debacle I don't have a good feeling about playing a rested Jets team tomorrow..

I can see a little slump coming the Habs way right about now but I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, and the Jets are another team desperately fighting for a playoff spot, or at least they should be. They're 3-7-0 in their last 10 and have lost 4 in a row though. Not exactly a "desperate" team record you'd like to see.

Still they have big forwards and a great player in Kane. It's going to be interesting. We'll need our D to be much better than tonight that's for sure.

Plekanec - Groin, Day to day (Tomas Plekanec n'a pas disputé la troisième période en raison d'une blessure à l'aine. Son cas sera évalué sur une base quotidienne.) Am I right ?

Pacioretty - Ankle, dunno more.

I'm not confident for the playoffs either... but Friday is a well-deserved day for resting.

I'll be missing this game due to travel, and I'm not sure that's a bad thing.

Probably just gonna use Weber at wing/7th defense, rather than scramble for call ups. Or am I wrong there?

Eller time to shine. He has been cold since that great game where he looked like Forsberg.

This team under MT rarely has 2 bad games in a row. Even less when the second game is in front of our own fans. Expect the boys to come out roaring tomorrow.

If I see Bouillon and Gorges and the PP, I will lose it.

Keep Markov and Subban for 2 minutes christ... or at least try Emelin. He can't be worse than the other 2.

Any possibility of us calling up Kristo? People seem to say he's ready.

Hey guys,
So here's the deal. We suck. If you show up, you'll win. In fact, you don't even have to show up. We're that bad.
If you could perhaps have pity and let us win we'd appreciate it. If you can't I understand.
Good luck tomorrow.
