I didn't see the "ducking" goal live, but have since watched it. It really is pretty sad, kind of looks like he was trying to catch it in his glove, but why would he put his head down like that unless he though it was going high? Idk, but it's certainly not something I'd see from Cechmanek a.k.a. Cranium Carum a.k.a. Headmanek

A pissed off Wayne Simmonds is a fun thing to watch. It was funny seeing Subban flounder again when they were face to face in front of the Montreal net during that scrum. Simmonds really was born to wear the O&B.

Rinaldo out 1-to-2 weeks per Howard Eskin (ankle).

Simmonds and Rinaldo (yeah, I'm coming around to him!) are the kind of players who, if Laviolette told them the team would win if they bodychecked the Zamboni into the 9th row, the Zamboni would be in the 9th row.

As I mentioned earlier, I believe that's his third goal scored after taking damage. He comes out and plays in beastmode afterwards.

I loved the effort from Simmonds tonight, but does anyone else get a little annoyed that he keeps trying to beat defenders one on one lately? Tonight I saw it work for him once but the other night he just kept trying and failing. I know he has decent hands, but he keeps trying to be Giroux out there sometimes when it seems like a pass would be more beneficial.

But if he has to to play with confidence, I'm all for it, cause I love his game otherwise

No one clears a front porch like Wayne Simmonds. He loses his mind in scrums in front of the net.

I was kind of disappointed Moen ran away from him during that fight. I wanted to see Wayne feed him a couple.

If Adam Hall joins the team he could play. I wouldn't be surprised if Knuble sits should they want to add Rosehill, too. At the same time, coming off a win, Laviolette may not want to juggle the lines too much.

Great game to be at.

I'm so confused how silly and uninformed some "flyers fans" are. For example, after tonight's game this is apparently what I learned;

Hartnell is a free agent after this season.

There is no rule for fighting with a visor. It's made up.

Couts has zero offensive potential.

Timonen is terrible and should be traded to Finland.

Matt Read sucks and should go back to college.

Yeah I would say a good amount of people that go to games are there for the drinking and the social gathering more than the actual game going on. Most of them just pretend like they know what they're talking about.

Couts and Gus had great games, even if Gus did get beat badly once by Eller.

Still, it was nice to see.

Usually when I go, I get stuck sitting next to some pretty big people. So I end up sharing half of my seat most of the time. I'm not exactly that small either, I weigh about 195 and 6 foot tall. Then add in dumb comments from fans all night. Luckily for me I'm usually pretty banged up so its tolerable.

SO with Rinaldo out, Hall will essentially replace him yes? Not that Hall is any good... I'd like to see him in place of Knuble though once Zac comes back.

Technically there is no rule against fighting with a visor. It's only if you instigate a fight with a visor. But Im sure that's what you meant to say just not the way it came across.

Yeah, it came out wrong. Long couple of days for me. Been sleeping like 2 hours whenever I can. Basically, though you said what I was meaning.

So you're saying it's your fault.

EDIT: Just saw Gervais had 23+ minutes TOI. Dayum. Good for him.
