We'll probably see Ebbett or Alberts there before Roy. I wish I was joking.

Well, here we go again. They'd better be embarrassed after their showing the last Oilers game. At least as embarrassed as us, anyway.

What is the deal with David Booth? Do we have any clue as to what his injury is beyond just a leg/ankle thing? Is he done for the season and playoffs, or just the season or what? How catasrophic is the injury?

If Booth comes back for the playoffs and the team has a healthy Booth, Kesler and Roy - that's quite the infusion of potential top 6 guys to the lineup.

If Kesler's ankle is healed, why can't he play tomorrow? A rustly Kesler is 100X better than a seasoned Ebbett.

they don't want to rush him back, would rather him sit out for a but longer than risk injury

Dont want him to pull a hammy or something because he hasn't been in action for awhile.

Yup. Although I am excited for this team with Kesler. It's better to let him practice up for another week or so.

I wonder if they should let Kesler go to the Wolves for a conditional stint for a few games? ......practicing and game shape is two different things

Hasn't even been able to skate yet. Needs to shake some cobwebs before we throw him into the fire.

I dont want them in playoffs, i hate the hawks, but I hate the oilers and the fanbase more. Probably more so because I am surrounded by them. Some are realistic good friends of mine, others believe they have a dynasty already and the cup is a foregone conclusion in the next year or so, then they comment on how much better of a gm tambellini is then gillis already and many just flat out dont even respect us as a good team.

I have nightmares of living in AB and us getting them in playoffs and loosing.

And I was a fan of them in years prior.

Okay, check this out. How far off am I with the lines?.

Just for fun, look at the line ups the canucks have when HEALTHY and when they are NOT healthy.

NOT HEALTHY <-- WHAT WE USED VS THE OILERS

D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Jensen
Burrows - Roy - Hansen
Higgins - Lapierre - sweatt
Pinizzotto - Ebbett - Sestito

Hamhuis - Garrison
Edler - Bieksa
Barker - Tanev

The canucks lineup when HEALTHY

Sedin Sedin Burrows
Raymond Kesler Kassian
Higgins Roy Hansen
Weise Lappy Pino

Hamhuis - Garrison
Edler - Bieksa
Ballard - Tanev

~~OR~~

Sedin Sedin Burrows
Raymond Roy Kesler
Higgins Schroader Hansen
Weise Lappy Kassian

Hamhuis - Garrison
Edler - Bieksa
Ballard - Tanev

It's new Raymond. Maybe worth another shot.

In other news.. The Oilers won 8-2 tonight. Yes it was against the Flames but holy ****. Hall with a 5 point night. Lets hope their goal well was drained tonight.

Both healthy lineups do not include Booth; don't know if that was intentional, but nonetheless.

Can't wait for Kesler and - can't believe I'm saying it - Weise to get healthy. Ebbett and Pinizzotto have been ugly.

And if that lineup survives enough the playoffs we could see

D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Kassian
Raymond - Kesler - Burrows
Booth - Roy - Hansen
Higgins - Lapierre - Pinizzotto
Weise
Jensen
Schroeder?

Edler/Garrison
Hamhuis/Bieksa
Ballard/Tanev
Alberts

Schneider
Luongo

With Booth/Raymond and Burrows/Kassian interchangeable.
