I give up on this typing thing

Getzlaf is on pace for his best PPG season with 1.162 PPG currently, which would be 95 points in a full season.

Contract year, unsustainable, advanced stats.

Tampa Bay Force's presence is unsustainable according to advanced stats. We desperately need avi's with that as the theme!

Getzlaf is BEAST! I'm done arguing on the MB about him, they are all missing the show he is putting on this season.

Magic number now 14. Any combination of Ducks points earned or Sharks points lost equaling 14 and the Pacific division is a wrap.

I know he is past the point where he isn't supposed to get any better but I wonder if his maturity level on the ice has finally bumped up making him even more of a thinking man out there. His ability to now shoot once in while makes his passing even more dangerous and it nets us a few more goals from his shooting. I'll even swear he is backchecking stronger this season than he ever has.

He really is a joy to watch.

It was a fun game to see live in the Honda Center. Awesome to see Teemu score one and have a relatively easy 5-2 game over the usually troubling Stars. Go Ducks

It was pretty cool to see live. The little girl was really good, too bad you can't see her in the video.

Well, technically 12 vs St Louis who is currently in 9th. But that doesn't mean the Ducks need 67 points to clinch a playoff spot. There are so many teams bunched at the bottom that as they play each other and lose points, it will reduce the number regardless of what the Ducks do.

Clear as mud?

Check this thread out - it explains everything and stays updated. Great work Mayor Bee does every year.

oh damn DVM that is some meticulous work there by Data. So its 9 points maximum? Depending on how the teams below us do?

Christ this was a heart attack game, hopefully Getzy's knee is alright, smart move by BB to rest him after taking the 3 goal lead back. And congrats for 150 NHL goals

Also Beleskey is the luckiest man in the NHL right now, that was a nasty, nasty looking play. When you see that happen, I think it's time to start using the 'V' word as a vital piece of equipment for players now.

Good Game,

2nd straight shutout for Fasth would have been cool but.. I was right that we at least score 4 goals

Lol at Dvorak after that goal looking to Getz with surprise with a look on his face:'' OMG how did you did that, master'', while Getz just wearing his usual:''whatever, dude'' face

Dvorak is somewhat famous for his crazy excited eyes among Stars fans, IIRC.

That was a beautiful deflection of his, by the way. Not exactly something your average bottom-6er pulls off too often. He's definitely still got some skill.

Oh by the way - I think I mentioned this in an other thread already : I love the announcer in the honda center.. which really seems to have much fun at work

He reminds me of the stadion announcer in Tampa Bay, which has nearly as much fun as the guy in Anaheim when Tampa scores a goal

Guys.. I really need to come to California at least once in my life to watch a game here..
