I might not get the NESN feed on Gamecenter if it's on NESN+. That's my issue with it. First world problems, I know. But some of the other announcers are annoying as hell.

Is it true that Spooner is hurt? Do we know who will center the 3rd line? Move soup up and have Panda center the 4th?

Nothing wrong with taking a break from the Bruins. I took one this weekend. Didn't watch on Saturday I had to go catch up on schoolwork and Sunday I only really watched the first period.

Hope to see Jagr and Dogman

You didn't watch, Bergeron got concussed.

What if another Bruin gets injured?

Yes and no it depends on the cable system it's in. I posted a full list of NESN+ and NESN+ HD channels for New England cable companies (and dish) in the TV/radio thread.

I don't take breaks from the team. I always force myself to watch on PVR if I can't watch live, even if the team is struggling. I just love the sport and long for games so much during the off season that I feel the need to get my money's worth from the season. Granted, the entertainment value of some regular season games can be low, like that Buffalo game on Easter, but when you don't watch, you risk missing out on seeing something special.

It borders on obsession for me though and the Bruins can often hinder other parts of my life when I plan around watching them. PVR is a truly amazing thing though as long as you shut off the cell phone, stay off twitter and HF haha.

I'm expecting a big game for the B's with the new blood in the lineup.

If you live in an area that offers NESN+, which seems to be the majority, why does it matter which channel it's on?
I remember a couple years ago I didn't get NESN+ in HD. I do now though. I think the general rule is that if you have NESN, you have NESN+...if you get NESN HD then you also get +HD. I cannot confirm that this is universally true.

It's kinda the principle for me. It doesn't actually impact me at all other than taking an extra 30 seconds to find what channel +HD is.

Yeah, hard to turn away good or bad, though sometimes I probably should.

I think the Bruins as a whole are my binky...just a lot of good memories and nostalgia...never missing a game growing up, watching with my Dad, etc...they kind of put me in my happy place, even in years where they were horrid...

So during this year, even in slumps, I can usually tolerate some poor play, because it is still a distraction from everyday life.

But they definitely affect my mood, which I know they shouldn't. I'm working on that.

Seems to be the case - they have gotten better about their + crap in recent years. Not too long ago, watching those games was like watching the worst AHL stream. NESN would be happier if the Bruins missed the playoffs so they could revert back to the full time John Henry Network without that barbaric ice game getting in the way.

Why can't it be
Lucic-Krejci-Jagr
Marchand-Seguin-Horton
But no. Julien loves being stubborn and likes to keep Seguin on his child leash.
Bet ya Pandolfo will be our starting center

Considering Horton is finally scoring...why change up that top line?

If anything, play Jagr with DK and Lucic on the PP.

Also, Seguin is not ready to play Center.

At least with Peverly, he's still excellent on the draw.

I know. It's frustrating. I hope I am pleasantly surprised at the lineup tonight.

Does anyone know if we will be able to watch the game on NHL Network, or will it be blacked out? (If it matters, I live in NH).

I'd rather watch it in HD on NHLN than vaseline-screen mode.

More importantly, I won't be home in time to watch the game, and I need to know which channel to set my DVR to.

Thanks!

Sorry, not familiar with NESN+, is it different PBP guys or a pay station that cuts out many from watching?

i hate baseball.
its probably because i played it competitively until I was 28.
But I havent watched a baseball game since the strike in 1994.

I would hope the Bruins playoff games dont get bumped.
At least all the alternate channels are in HD now.

Wait... correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears NESN+ now has an HD station on Comcast in NH? Channel 894? Can anyone confirm so I don't DVR the wrong channel?
