If it is Pandalfo - Dog - Jagr tonight I will puke.

I am tired of hearing Seguin is not ready to play center, you do not hear alot of complaining coming out of TO that Kadri is not ready to play center and he loses about 65% of his draws but yet is piling up points.

Bergeron out sucks and Clode does not like to change things but why not this for tonight:

Lucic - Krejci - Horton
Marchand - Seguin - Jagr
Paille - Peverly - Dog
Pandalfo - Campbell - Thronton

Really 2 scoring lines, high energy 3rd line and a 4th line that can play as well.

Mix and match the bottom six wingers if needed and if needed have someone take some d zone draws for Seguin.

Yes, my head will explode if Jagr is subjected to that bleep show of a third line...

...totally agree on Seguin, he should be moved to center...

...and your lineup makes total sense...good post...

...that being said, get ready for Pandawful-Dogman-Jagr tonight, and don't eat anything for dinner that you might not want coming back up later.

I`d be shocked if Jagr is brought here, then is placed on that line. Claude`s stubborn but if there`s one way to get uninspired play out of someone, stick em with those two.

It seems to defy logic. I hope you're right.

I'm no expert of anything, but I think that one of the most under-noticed developments of this season so far is the development of Seguin as a legitimate two-way player. I know he isn't playing on the penalty kill, and still has weaknesses, but I think he's really learned how to use his skillset on the backcheck and his defensive play is light years ahead of where it was last season. Bergeron is rubbing off on him.

I guess what I'm saying is - give the kid a shot at center. I'd run with this setup:

Lucic - Krejci - Jagr
Marchand - Seguin - Horton

Please someone tell me why Seguin isn't ready to atleast play a few games at center?
He can back check better than anyone because of his speed. How else would he be able to improve Dzone coverage without ever being their? Not everyone is Bergeron or Kelly
Like Jagr will be happy to play on our 3rd line with a bunch of garbage

I just can`t see Claude being that obtuse. He`s a stubborn guy but......if he did that to Jags, what`ll that mean for a PP unit??? Thorty/Caron and Paille???

This is what I would do although probably would play Caron over Pandolfo.

I almost can't wait for practice just to see what the line rushes are.

No people are just upset that the Bruins got bumped to the 2nd channel. Every thing else is exactly the same. I don't understand why they're upset tho since we know the Red Sox hold the majority share in the channel.

Thankfully they're in Boston so the NHL network feed should be the Jack and Brick for those of us out of town.

Neely and Chia's public statements on the issue, as well as Claude's history give me a bit of pause, but I do understand that Neely and Chia are not going to commit to anything publicly and undermine their coach. They also aren't going to announce publicly that Horton is being demoted to the third line without discussing that with the player first. I get all that, but I still have an uneasy feeling about this. I expect that you're right, because it seems like a no-brainer, but will I be shocked to see Jagr on the third line? No. I just need to see it tonight to actually believe it.

I think he was brought here to play with Bergeron and Marchand so Seguin could spark the 3rd line. That plan's out the window now.

Hopefully Jagr will play on the PP every second the Bs have it. If he can't make it successful then there is no hope for it.

I know most people disagree but I think Caron has been very good the past 3 games. So I'm with you, I play Caron over Pandolfo and it's not even close.

Maybe Julien thinks that Jagr can change Pandolfos impressive 0+0 stat but those years when Jagr could do it are gone

I think we'll see Peverley centering 2nd line, and Daugavins centering 3rd line. Claude always puts Pevs at center given the chance. I'd love to see Seguin at center with Marchand and Jagr on his wings, but Claude's history makes me think its not happening.

First of all you're missing Pandolfo.

I know we rag Claude a lot but I think he will have Seguin center a line befor Daugavins in his first game with the Bruins. Seguin's defensive game has improved and he at least knows the system.

Put the 6 best forwards in the top two lines and hopefully they score. What worries me with no Bergeron and Kelly is the PK.

That's how I do it with Borussia Dortmund games... Unfortunately, they seem to thrive better with me not watching, just like electrons in the double slit experiment... or my gf driving

Anyway, go B's! Excited to see Jagr in action. Hopefully, Daugavins as well.

I'd like to see Seguin get some PK time. He's been playing with Bergeron long enough that he's becoming a good 2 way player. I think if you give Seguin the opportunity he could help the PK while Kelly and Bergy are gone. He's quick, and he's got good hockey IQ, he needs to win puck battles, and being on the PK might force him to improve that part of his game.

for a 41 yo, he averaged about 19.7mins a game (for the last 5 games. Didn't look that far back)
