Hartnell is a free agent after this season.

There is no rule for fighting with a visor. It's made up.

Couts has zero offensive potential.

Timonen is terrible and should be traded to Finland.

Matt Read sucks and should go back to college.
There was a couple in front of me that complained every time Voracek touched the puck. The first time I noticed was early on in his 2nd or 3rd shift he turned the puck over entering the zone on a pass that got knocked down from the air and I caught the guys wife throwing her hands in the air yelling at her husband that of course it was Voracek. Now I'm not one to say something especially to another philly fan but I made sure to have an awfully loud conversation during the intermission with the guy next to me, who seemed more well informed then your typical fan, about how great Voracek has looked all season. For the next two periods I did not hear a single bad thing about him I had a couple of shrill women behind me that enjoyed yelling shoot every second of the pp. That's the most annoying imo.

Exactly ! Bryz has not been nearly as bad or terrible as many on here thing or say......we have a patched together D, a constant changing line up due to all kinds of injuries, a low scoring offense up until recently etc, and in my view he has battled hard and has kept us in many games.......Anyone that don't think he is not battling hard and working his a$$ off has no clue about goal tending.........Watch the NHL hi lites each night on the NHL channel and you will see all kinds of crazy goals against every netminder in this league including Hank, Quick, Rinne, etc etc.......Bryz ain;t the best goalie in the league certainly but he has been a warrior and is giving our club a shot to win most nights..........

I'm impressed they held a team that averages about 30 shots a game to just 17 including just 2 in the 3rd period. Although of course allowing a few goals on such few shots destroys Bryz's already low save percentage.

We really do have some dumb fans around here.

Shoot is the worst, by far. The whole PP we had the one period I had this one lady behind me screaming 'SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT'. I was just baffled, I'm pretty sure their the professionals.

I don't understand the Voracek hate, it has to be uninformed people. Seriously, seriously.

I had a few fans around me discussing Couts, which I mean sure. Why not? They were pretty knowledgeable saying that Philadelphia shouldn't give up on him and that he's just slumping and just kept referencing what he does to Malkin.

I went to my first Flyers game this year (vs. Carolina on Feb. 9th) and two guys behind me started yelling that about 10 seconds into the first powerplay.

no it wouldn't have. the guy gave no effort what so ever on the shot. no attempt to kick out his leg for an easy kick save not to mention his stick was four feet off the ice the entire time. it was just another bad goal given up by a bad goalie.

Sometimes it looks like there is a shooting lane when there isn't. Also, fans are impatient.

Our fans wouldn't know a shooting lane if they were standing in it themselves

I do hate it in hockey... but one of the funniest trends that I have been witness too is a few years back in the EPL, a Manchester City player, Danny Mills, who was washed up and past it, hardly ever played, scored a wonder goal from about 30 yards... from then on every time he touched the ball everyone shouted 'shooooooooooooooooot'... even when he was in his own box! Fans were still doing it a few years later!

Up until last night, I though Subban was hyped up for nothing, but he really is good. Damn.

Still very unimpressed by Lauridsen, who I think was our worst defenseman on the ice by far. Which makes me a sad panda, seeing as how I really want him to succeed. But then I actually saw him play.

i love seeing you "flyer fans" gripe after wins .......

of course he didn't intentionally duck so it would go in the net .... people here need to get a grip.

if that wasn't deflected, and had gone over his head, it would have been an awful goal - all on him. goalies today go down into the butterfly 90% of the time. the puck that was shot low [butterfly save] now gets deflected and goes over his head.

it's easy to say "if he would not have gone into the butterfly, its an easy save" ...... news flash: the puck was shot low: goalies go into the butterfly to save them. every time. it hit the stick & went up over his head. would you love to see him be able to catch it over his head ? yes. was he out of position ? no.

The only reason the game was on the line was Bryz keeping Montreal in the game in the first place. Ducking pucks is generally frowned upon.
