That Michigan game was a little boring after the first 5 minutes, but I did enjoy every second of Florida getting railroaded. Go Blue!

Also, are bones supposed to do this?

Good luck with the rehab, kid.

Driving from Grand Rapids back to the 'Cuse tomorrow to visit the folks, let them see the grand kids, etc... thankfully, I'm a solid enough parent to not let my kids grow into becoming fans of either UM or State

Can't wait for the game Saturday night- hope that Beilein falls to 0-10 against the Orange. Should be a great game. Even if Syracuse pulls ahead in the 2nd half, nobody can sit on a late lead in a big game and let the other team back into it like Boeheim. Bill Self did an impressive Boeheim-imitation against UM in letting them back into the game on Friday, but Jimmy's been perfecting that since the '70's.

Committee for now. I suspect the Tigers will trade for a real closer later in the year, unless Rondon both proves he's ready for the show and then pitches well enough to grab the closer's role. And pitches well enough to hold onto it and be effective.

Tigers don't need a closer. They need to not ever pitch Phil Coke to right handed batters ever. They were fine.

And the Tigers sign Valverde to a minor league deal. Hopefully the big potato can get hot again.

Even if he's good I don't want him back. His antics and drama - which I use to like - has reached a point where it's unbearable. Not to mention his beer gut.

What? The guy is awesome in the community and he's a fun character on the mound. If he's good that makes us that much better. Not sure why anyone would not want him if he's effective.

I wouldn't because even if he was effective in the short term eventually he would return to being ****,and I just know that the Tigers would keep him around for too long again when he does

Well that's the chance you take with just about every closer. Look around the league at how many consistent closers there are year to year. Not many that I can see. In your scenario the problem is the manager not the player. Which begs the question why is Don Kelly playing today?

And batting sixth

Leyland and Babcock would be the greatest friends.
