New Habs Rumor site (in French)

Worth a read, seems professional enough:

http://montrealhabstrade.blogspot.com/

Adding fuel onto the fire, I know

Send a message via MSN to Dogbert*
They should've titled the blog "Not Gonna Happen, Guys!" That's essentially what he's saying about every rumour out there.

I don't think it looks that professional; there are tons of spelling mistakes and some of the comments are ridiculous:

Quote:
Il est a noté que M. Carter avec ces origines Afro-Américaine, serait un joueur très populaire dans la capitale nationale des États-Unis, d'où la présence multi-ethnique est très forte.

I'm pretty sure this was posted before though so this is likely going to be merged. Be sure to search next time you post one of those links.

It reminds me of Spector where he comments as to whether the rumour makes sense to him or not.

Yeah that's what I thought. Except at somme points where he seems to talk about a source. But for the rest I kinda like the way he analyses things(not saying I agree...but at least he's giving arguments).

But I do have an issue with the fact he cant spell Ovechkin.....

Am I the only one who thinks Eric Brewer isn't anything special?
Team Canada my arse.
I'd much rather have Derek Morris

The righty/lefty thing matters though. I always liked Brewer and thought he played better on Team Canada than some of the more publicized guys. Edmonton fans seemed to sour on him though, so who knows. I don't see our right side being moved right now, even if we're a bot more talented on the L.

Gainey is not dumb

Kostistyn (future first line winger) + Dannis + Souray for

Brewer (overate Dman) + Scott Jackson (average second round pick)

Come on

So many Blogs!

So many Blogs out there, they grow like wild mushrooms!!!

http://montrealhabstrade.blogspot.com/

http://www.nhltradetalks.blogspot.com/

There are so many Blogs, looks like 2 or 3 new ones are born every day!!!

http://nhlrumors2.blogspot.com/

http://insidenhlrumours.blogspot.com/

http://nhl-insiders.blogspot.com/

http://habs-rumors.blogspot.com/

http://www.habsinfo.blogspot.com/

http://rumorsnhl.blogspot.com/

http://www.allducks.com/forums/index...howtopic=11344

http://www.***********.com/

So far, the 2 with the "inside" word in them have been the most interesting in my view.

nhl-insiders has made real bold predictions about BIG things that were to happen Friday or this week-end, now one person there (check the over 290 replies to the last Gospel annoucement by St-Patrick dating back to Friday early AM) talks about a PC tomorrow afternoon, so we will know within 24/48 hours for sure if this guy is legit or not.

Insidenhlrumors seems like the most serious and informative to me, on par with the old reliable Spector's site, maybe taking a few more risks,as Spector will not report anything unless it is in teh media.

The new MontrealHabstrade in French is quite a read, if these guys are con artists, they certainly have a lot of imagienation and a lot of time to waiste!!!

As for the new Brewer-Morris debate, I too prefer Morris, but if we trade Souray, we would be better off with a LH shot and Morris at 3.9 is extremely expensive for a team alledgedly trying to make Cap room!

Another one!!!

Check out this one!

http://nhlrumoursandhearsay.blogspot.com/

Gagné to Montreal in 3-way, in red which means "Breaking news from a direct source" according to the guy, but only 4/10 on his scale of likelyhood that it will ahppen, go figure it out!

The guy also has Dumont to Sens.

These guys are claiming we are going to trade for Naslund only to ship him to Philly for Gagne:

http://nhlrumoursandhearsay.blogspot.com/

Why would anyone want Gagne over Naslund??!?!?!?!?

They are all BS wanna be's, we all can make a blog site and run our best trade ideas and throw out repeat rumours by other bloggers too if we want...the only credible source is the one by the networks and radioe stations that provide a final trade, other than that i list to guys like Bobby Mac...all others are just unreliable.

That`s my take also. The guy is not saying these things are happening, just make an analysis of what that means. Is it true the the Dumont Clan are giving the Habs until Mardi to change their offers?

this guy clearly doesn't know a thing about the salary cap, giving us Gagné for Ryder and kids.

Gagné is asking for 5 millions in philly.. we can't afford that

There's no way to know that, but it make sense...the guy wants to play in Montreal so he's waiting for a roster change on the Habs...but he can't wait forever so a deadline is really plausible...

I think this is the funniest blog:

http://canadiensinsider.blogspot.com/

Quote:
Alright guys, it's been a heck of a summer with all these rumors about the habs. But, believe it or not, I am a good friend of Bob Gainey and he's forbidden me to say anything about the moves he's working on. Therefore, I'll keep this private and confidential.
O and according to "Bob's good friend" a trade should be announced later on tonight haha, and if you read the comments, he says the trade is with an eastern conference team and that it's a d-man, who is a quebecer, coming our way.
