Yeah, if I had to make a guess, I'd guess Chevy asked about Stafford, Regier asked for Burmistrov, and Winnipeg declined.
Possible they pick up talks again in the summer.

according to some of the reporters from Edmonton some teams they talked to only wanted to talk if Gagner, Petry, klefbom or MPS and had no interest in anyone else the oilers had.

Possibly. If Burmi and Noel can't get on the same page, they might try to find him (Burmi) a new home.

Lol @ Bill Watters. At this point if I were Nonis, I wouldn't have offered Kadri straight up for Yandle. People seriously overrate Yandle's defensive play.

Did they acquire Redden as a result of this?

Too late Gillis, everyone knows you offered it and Toronto shot it down!
What are you even talking about ?

Gillis isn't the guy reporting it.

I get the **** envy of Vancouver and the Canucks and everything but this weird non-rivalry you have going from your side is really bizarre.

Fact is: The Canucks wanted to make a trade for help for this playoff run. Keeping Luongo >>>>> Scrivens and picks for this year. Watch Schnieder falter or get injured. Yeesh.

Someone must of had a dream that Milbury was the GM for the Flyers and was offering that . Then they woke up and posted it like it was fact . The Flyers Gm is not an Idiot , no way he gives that up . Yandle is over rated as it is take a look at his zone starts . 7th on PNX and you guessed it out of 7 defence men . The Flyers would be better off trading their first and Couts for a high enough pick and drafting Seth Jones maybe another + but then the Flyers are set for 10 plus years

Aww how cute, you think this story has an ending

I honestly think gillis will lose his job over this situation.

Actually if Philadelphia wends up outside the top 5.....a 1st + couts likely is NOT enough to go to #1 to get Seth.

Yea, sounds like something that could easily be re-discussed again in the off season.

Gagner makes more sense but I can see why Edmonton would say no.

Now I'm just picturing Murray talking to these GMs and start listing off names.

"Scho, Schtevie, how about that Schtamkos fella?"
"No Bryan"
"Victor Hedman scheems real nice"
"No Bryan"
"Well, how 'bout Conacher and a 1scht?"
"4th."
"Deal...sch"

Are the offers for Bishop legit or is it just speculation? By legit I mean reported by a legitimate source. (Jones+ 2nd/ Couturier/ Rinaldo +2nd for Bishop). Any other offers to players on the Sens?

Either the radio station was bluffing, or the deal was turned down.
that has got to be bullspit.

that package could have probably got them Weber last summer... unless cooters stock has dropped substantially this season..

He's a great goalie with a great future. The thing is with Ottawa is that we are set in goal for the first time in franchise history. As another Sens fan put it, its like Ottawa just cashed in on their rotten luck with goalies this season. Anderson looks like he will be back soon and Lehner looks like the real deal. There was just no room for him

Crowded crease with him Lehnr and Anderson. He held alot of value so they just sold high. Good move IMO.

Sorry, but if Gillis turned that down. He should have been fired today. If Luongo gets bought out in the summer, I would have security on me at all times if I'm Gillis.

All confirmed by Lebrun. Sens rejected all those offers except for the Couturier one which they apparently asked from Philly.

I don't believe any rumors coming from the media in Phoenix, Coyote management doesn't leak information like that. I am expecting Holmgren to pursue Yandle at the draft and guessing that their 1st will be in play.
