Couts will be one of our better players to end the season.

After a few decades of Flyers goaltending, you get numb.

Yes, cause the only goalie in the entire league that gets screened is Bryz. Our defense is the only one that allows that to happen to a goalie. Flyers D sucks, need to help our goalie more.

Couturier with a point two games in a row? Nice.

So.. can Couturier get off the damn 4th line? I know Lavy loves the old man line but seriously.

Good pas... However, when he tries that play 60 times a week right onto a defenders stick, one of em is bound to go through eventually.

Couturier is going to become the new Kimmo Timonen. Except as a forward.

This type of physicaliy is starting to remind me of the Leafs-Flyers in the 90s and early 2000s.

Good offensive period, could have easily had 3-4 if Reimer didn't make some unreal saves.

You absolutely can't watch the elite goaltenders in the league and not hate Bryz. They make crazy saves and seem to have good vision through traffic. Rebound control. Etc. Lundqvist is just a freak of nature sometimes. Even last year there were games against him that he was just unbelievable against the Flyers. Nothing was getting through him. Nothing.

Did Bryz really fall on his face and lose his stick on a flipped in puck while the Flyers were on the PP? That about says it all.

There are times when I think Lundqvist closes his eyes and plays by sound, like Rutger Hauer in that movie where he's a blind ninja or something.

Comparing any goalie in the league to Lundqvist is just silly. IMO he's head and shoulders above any other tender in the league.

Beauty of a wait and pass by Couts, so calm to get that puck across instead of slam a bad angle shot or take it behind the net.

There was zero defense being played at the charity game in Atlantic City. Allstars were playing and Lundqvist was absolutely shutting it down until the next period where someone must have said: "Hey man, this is for charity. Let something through."

I remember hearing about that!

TBH good keepers in any sport hate letting shots in, even in training and mess-about games! Don't start bad habits a friend of mine says.
